Welcome to the BitterrootDayZ Wiki!

A source of information regarding the development of Bitterroot: A DayZ Map,
created by MatttyIce.

Based in a fictional region of Montana, Bitterroot is full of natural backwoods
wildlife and experiences. Before the apocalypse, the region was influenced by a
dangerous cult called Children of Man. Now, just a few years later, survivors
are left with a world that is both beautiful and all consumed. Bitterroot is
approximately 155 km2 in size.

Bitterroot aims to provide an American DayZ setting, including dozens of new
buildings and assets like weapons, clothes, food and more that work to create an
immersive experience for the survivor.

location.

CULT LORE[]

Bitterroot features a radical cult that maintained a significant presence in the
region prior to the spread of the infection.

WEAPONS OVERHAUL[]

As part of Bitterroot's mission to provide an immersive American experience,
there has been a comprehensive weapons overhaul that incorporates American
weapons and removes vanilla DayZ weapons that are less likely to be found in
America.

ANIMALS[]

Bitterroot features 2 new custom animals: Mountain Lion and Moose.
