I had the good fortune to be referred by a friend to Craig D'Egidio in the
spring of 2022. I was fortunate enough to telecommute 100% through my work and
set forth to find a place to settle and ultimately retire in one of four
locations. Hence, I had four real estate agents working with me during this
time. Craig separated himself from the pack right away. He listened to what I
was looking for in a home and had a great grasp of some areas that might meet my
needs. I made it to Wilmington from the Washington, DC area where I lived, 5 or
6 times before I was able to find the place that we selected. Because I had time
on my side, this process took roughly one year. Craig was patient with me as my
selections vacillated and typically previewed homes that I saw online offering
candid assessments on the homes that proved quite helpful. Craig put in the time
and effort to assess pricing, amenities, neighborhoods and things that were new
to me living in a coastal community. I was impressed with Craig's tireless
efforts on my behalf. He was always professional, but over time I grew to really
like him as a friend. Once we were able to identify a house, Craig was extremely
helpful in assisting us with offering a competitive bid. Once the contract was
accepted, Craig didn't stop his work, assisting us with identification of
vendors for the contract, inspectors for the home and contractors with some work
we would need on the home after we moved in. Every vendor that we have had from
contract acceptance through closing and now two months into having purchased the
home has been nothing short of outstanding. Craig has been an ideal real estate
agent, area sophisticate, and resource to me and my girlfriend. He and his wife
Sheree were also great ambassadors for the area having relocated to Wilmington
from a large metropolitan area a few years before we began looking. Their
perspectives, being relatively new to the area, were outstanding for us. Make no
mistake, Craig knows Wilmington and the surrounding areas extremely well, and
having them understand what it was like moving to the area from a large city was
invaluable to help us assess the properties and areas that we were interested in
considering. I highly recommend Craig for your home search. He will find the
right fit for you, advocate through negotiations, and provide resources well
beyond the traditional real estate agent.

and my girlfriend. Make no mistake, Craig knows Wilmington, NC and the
