We have thoroughly enjoyed our tour, learning about the Moriori history and meeting the lovely people on the island. You are an amazing host. We go home so much richer! Arohanui. – Mereana & Pete * 10/10. Hotel Chathams Tours attention to detail is superb, from the moment I paid the fee and hopped on the plane, to the moment I got home, I wanted for nothing, even my drinks were delivered to my table, and I didn’t have to pay a cent, (unless I went shopping.) The rooms and housekeeping were first class. We ate fresh seafood prepared by an excellent chef. I think I might have put on 10kg in a week! But it was worth it. We were chauffeured everywhere by coach with a knowledgeable local guide who made the experience even better with his jokes and ability to cater for all needs. The fishing trip was amazing! Blue cod on tap..and the birdlife flying around the boat was unbelievable. The Lady Killers concert was the best I’ve ever been to, because of their personalities in the way they interacted with the crowd, and it was set in the most beautiful garden with a buffet dinner, and VIP seating. We danced on the lawn… I could go on for hours but in summary. It was the best trip I’ve ever been on, made even better by Chathams Air and the locals. Dont miss out on this once in a lifetime experience. Im going again – Tania C * Women in Photography: It was a really special Christmas gift from my family … an all-expenses paid weekend adventure trip with Women in Photography. I wasn’t feeling the boldest, and certainly wouldn’t have ventured off on a weekend excursion by myself – to a place I’d not heard of, with a group of people I’d never met before. My appetite for adventure has been curbed for health reasons and I was quite apprehensive. My worries and concerns melted away the minute I met Lesley Whyte and the group of women who would be weekend companions. I couldn’t have been better looked after. Women in Photography ru a highly professional programme in the most warm and welcoming manner, and whilst efficiently organised, they still maintain the ability to be flexible with uncontrollable factors – like the weather – and make the most out of photographic opportunities as they present themselves. Lesley showed me how to get the best out of my camera, encouraging me to try different combinations and settings. The results are great photos, confidence in my camera, confidence to tinker with enhancements in photo software, a wide angle view of opportunities and a zoom on trying different techniques.
