Partners For all small and large employers Young People For young people aged 9-21+ Educators For schools, colleges and universities Connecting young people, educators, partners and employers across the UK EDT are a nationwide educational charity set up over 35 years ago engaging young people through STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) focused experience days, projects and placements. We help young people develop the STEM skills, knowledge and experience they need to take control of their futures and change the world around them. Our Industrial Cadets accredited programmes and awards provide opportunities through education to employment, aiming to give students aged 9-21 across the UK access to an Industrial Cadets programme, which provides them with the opportunity to develop critical skills for a career in STEM. EDT AND INDUSTRIAL CADETS BECOME FRIENDS OF THE QUEEN’S GREEN CANOPY WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE OUR FRIENDSHIP AGREEMENT WITH THE QUEEN’S GREEN CANOPY. THE RELATIONSHIP WILL ENGAGE YOUNG PEOPLE AND IGNITE THEIR NATURAL INTEREST IN THEIR LOCAL ENVIRONMENT. AS PART OF HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE, STUDENTS WILL BE INSPIRED THROUGH INDUSTRIAL CADETS TO PLANT TREES ACROSS THE UK. Our vision is to ensure young people develop the skills, experience and connections they need to enter the workplace and build the bright futures they deserve.
