extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He got my application started and approved
in 30 days. Maria was the processor on my loan and she was responsive and guided
me through the process. I felt safe. I'm very thankful for these 2 human beings
for extending me a life line. I'm forever grateful and will only use them and
this company for any future mortagage needs.

They helped me to complete the process with such encouragement and assistance
that I have not experienced in my few years of participating in the home
buying/refinancing experience. Every step of the process was explained so that I
could understand it. I would highly recommend the James and Maria AdvantageFirst
Lending team to anyone who may be worried or anxious about the process. They
were professional, knowledgeable and very patient with me throughout the entire
process. It was a pleasure working with them and their prompt feedback and
assistance was/is unmatched. If I have for any reason to do this again I will

Used this company to refinance our home starting in January. Dealt With Mike A.
My husband is a Military Veteran. This company gave us the runaround from
January 2024 till April 2024. Telling us our payment would be a little lower and
we would get back 28,000 as we have over 200,000 in equity. We were instructed
to not pay our mortgage while the refinancing was going thru. We had to actually
do the leg work for this company, work the company should have done. Then when
they were ready to close Mike told us our payment would be $500 more than what
we pay now on our mortgage and we'd be getting back $5,000 instead of the
$28,000 we were told from the beginning. They reeled us in, only to find out
nothing they said was accurate. In the meantime, by not paying our mortgage for
2 months, as they instructed us NOT to do, we have late fees, and no way to
catch up with what we owe. Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone, ever!
They screwed us bigtime!

I just closed on a refinance with Advantage First Lending Inc. I consider myself
blessed to have had the opportunity to work with James Arus. His communication
skills are magnificent. He was punctual in returning my calls or text and his
mannerism is superb. I had a few rather complicated situations but with his help
and guidance I was able to conquer all of the obstacles facing me. I never felt
overwhelmed or alone. I felt like a team member from start to finish. It was an
amazing journey but in the end I was able to reap the fruits of our hard labor.
