This is where you will learn about how the Scandinavian building industry can benefit from coming together, to collaborate on how to use digital tools, technology, and data to make the process of building better, more efficient, and ultimately more sustainable. Look towards Main Forum to shed light on major future trends and tendencies in relation to digitalization in the construction industry. FUTURE TECH SPACE The future is already here! But what does it mean for the building industry? Future Tech Space is where you can get to hear about exciting developments that can potentially turn the entire industry on its head within a few years. You can learn more about the latest developments and get an understanding for how we can use tools like AI, drones and automatization to make the industry better for your business and for the planet. BUILDINGS & DESIGN The stage Buildings & Design is focused on how digital technology, new tools and ways of working can help shape the future of our buildings. By designing tools that allow us to view the building process as a holistic entity from sketch to end of life, and by streamlining workflows to make design more transparent and efficient, we can put creativity back at the center of the profession, while also ensuring a smart approach to operations and maintenance. Plan your experience – explore the program stages “The sustainable transformation of the construction and property industry is closely linked to digitalization. Through digital tools, we can both scale and adjust sustainability initiatives to have the greatest possible effect. At the same time, digitization can also contribute to making it easier for large and small companies to act more sustainably” SISSE NORMAN CANGUILHEM CEO, Rådet for Bæredygtigt Byggeri “Increased use of data and a better data flow is a prerequisite for the green transformation of the construction industry to take place in necessary speed. Data is key to documenting CO2 and resource consumption during the building’s lifetime. This provides effective collaborations and can increase productivity. Data collection can help us to reuse experiences from one construction project to another – and further into the operational phase.” JACOB LUNDGAARD Director of digital innovation, WE BUILD DENMARK “Digitalization is key, to help optimize and streamline the entire construction process – from planning and design to execution and maintenance. Digitization leads to better quality, less waste and reduced costs. In addition, digitization is a prerequisite for us to be able to document sustainability in the construction. Therefore, the BIM collaboration is a cornerstone for the green transformation of the construction industry.” SØREN CAJUS Head of the Danish construction industry, DI Byggeri “Digitalization and new use of data play a decisive role in relation to a green transformation of the construction industry. This applies both in relation to documentation, but also in relation to optimizing processes, collaboration and working with customer and user wishes in new ways. Therefore, we look forward to meeting various players to discuss how we can make strategic change in the industry through digitization” HENRIK BANG CEO, Bygherreforeningen “The sustainable transformation of the construction and property industry is closely linked to digitalization.
