It was time to say goodbye to our beloved boob-mobile Belinda. We donated her to
Giveacar and were delighted to raise £6,500 from the sale which could enable us
to do any one of our life-saving pieces of work: – Send a witty text reminder to
all of our subscribers for two months, reaching over 120,000 people with our
message and building healthy behavior change. – Get 19 Boobettes started on
their journey with educating and empowering the nation to check their chest. –
Deliver 430 healthcare awareness packs to get GP practices on our side,

GUIDE DOGS

Guide Dogs has been working with Giveacar since 2010 and we are very pleased to
be a part of this fantastic and innovative scheme. We’re incredibly grateful to
our supporters who have used Giveacar, and it’s a great company to work with.
We’d encourage anyone that has an old car, motorbike or caravan that they no
longer want to contact Giveacar. It’s a great way to support a charitable

Get rid of your unwanted car. Fast, free and for charity.

Giveacar is a not-for-profit social enterprise that can turn your unwanted car
into cash for any UK charity. We arrange free collection, then either sell your
car at auction or scrap it with the proceeds (minus our service fees) raised
going to your charity.

The UK’s first car donation scheme, Giveacar has won several awards, has over
1,800 charities registered with us and has supported thousands more with the
money raised from old cars. Using a nationwide network of breakers yards and
salvage partners, we have handled the auction and disposal of over 40,500
vehicles so we know how to raise the best donation possible whether your car is
in perfect condition or not.

If you need to get rid of an old car and would like to do some good at the same

not affiliated to any corporate salvage partners and we don’t make a profit from
your car donation.

UK. We are hugely grateful to Giveacar for all the amazing donations we have

CANCER RESEARCH UK

We have been absolutely delighted to take part in the Giveacar scheme. We have
had several cars donated to us through this scheme and it provides us with an
additional way to riase very much needed funds to continue improving the lives
of animals in The Gambia. It’s such an easy scheme to use and is easy for us as
the charity, as well as being easy for th person who needs to scrap their car
too.

So far, we have received an amazing £37,947.11 through Giveacar donations.
Today, 771 million people don’t have clean water close to home and 1.7 billion
people don’t have access to a proper toilet. Just £15 can help provide one
person with safe water. Help us reach everyone everywhere with safe water, clean
