Located on the northwest corner of the University of Illinois at Chicago’s east
campus, Credit Union 1 Arena is a 10k capacity multi-purpose arena that hosts
numerous events for UIC and Chicago. The arena brings together both communities
for exciting sports, concerts, gatherings and special events.

Each year, the arena hosts a wide range of national touring acts. Whether it’s
hip-hop, rock, comedy, contemporary, or classic-if it’s a hot show, it is
playing at Credit Union 1 Arena. Notable acts have included, The Cure, Sam
Smith, Tame Impala, Zedd, Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, Martin Lawrence, Amy
Schumer, and many more.

Home to the UIC Flames Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs and the Chicago
Smash of the World TeamTennis Association, the arena is an ideal location for a
variety of events, such as boxing, robotics competitions, and graduation
ceremonies.

specific need, we are here to assist making your event spectacular.




SPORTS EVENTS

Home to the UIC Flames basketball teams and the Chicago Smash of the World
TeamTennis Association, the arena provides its guests with non–stop sports
entertainment. The renovated building is complete with a multi–sport scoreboard,
ample dressing rooms, a NCAA regulation basketball court, state–of–the–art sound
system, full video board, and ample lighting.


GATHERINGS

Credit Union 1 Arena is the ideal location for your next gathering. Whether it’s
a corporate event, religious ceremony, or graduation ceremony, we have you
covered. The arena offers a customizable stage, theatrical backdrop curtain, a
variety of spotlights, access to stagehands and riggers, ample loading space,
and flexible operating procedures.


CONCERTS

Credit Union 1 Arena is an ideal concert venue.  All the seats are close to the
action and even the seats furthest from the stage seem intimate.  We have ample
dressing rooms, truck parking, office space, rigging limits and generous rates. 
Over the past five years, our concerts have averaged 75% capacity and nearly
$340k in gross ticket sales.


PRIVATE EVENTS

Whether you need a space for your company meeting, a team building event, major
fundraiser, or a filming in Chicago; Credit Union 1 Arena is an ideal location. 
Our proximity to downtown Chicago and access to major expressways, mass transit
and parking make us easy to get to and from.  We make your job easy; with very
limited restrictions on you can obtain goods and services from.
