Shocking news emerged yesterday that Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with
pancreatic cancer, amidst reports in US tabloids that he has only five months to
live.

His publicist confirmed the diagnosis yesterday but denied reports that the
illness is terminal. "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he
appears to be responding well to treatment thus far," he said. "All of the
reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are
absolutely untrue. We are considerably optimistic."

poured in from all over the world. Online blogger Perez Hilton is encouraging
everyone to download She's Like The Wind as a show of support.
