Himalayan Blue by Crabtree & Evelyn is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women.
Himalayan Blue was launched in 2012. Top notes are Orange Leaf, Lemon and
Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Black Tea, Yellow Champaca, Ginger, Pink
Pepper, Wildflowers and Rose; base notes are Sandalwood, Leather and Patchouli.

Crabtree & Evelyn launches a new fragrance collection, Himalayan Blue, which
evokes the legend of undiscovered beauty and inspiration from the early British
expeditions. The fragrance takes you to the heart of the Himalayas, following a
path of the mystical traces of blue poppy.

Himalayan Blue is dedicated to women who stand out from the others,
characterized by independent minds and adventurous spirits. Essence of the
Himalayas is captured by fresh citruses in the top; there are mandarin, orange
leaf and lemon. The perfume’s heart is made from ginger, smoked black tea, rose
absolute, pink pepper, Himalayan golden champaca and wild flowers. Its smoky and
sensual base includes accords of sandalwood, patchouli and leather.

The fragrance is available as 30 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette, 200 ml shower gel,
200 ml body lotion and 25 and 100 g hand cream.

This is nice...for a man. It definitely has the profile of an MFK perfume which
I was surprised about. The saffron, sandalwood, and the amberwood gives the
perfume a male sophistication in my opinion, which is nice, but not what I was
looking for.
This to me is a date night perfume, doesn’t last on my skin or clothes for too
long, but I have worn it to dates and others can smell it for sure. It’s black
opium on steroids. If you enjoy more sweet sexy scents definitely give it a try.
I would not say it’s yummy or gourmand but sweet, warm and...
Smells like those air fresheners or candles you put in the living room, which
smells nice but I don’t like it when a frag reminds me of some basic things like
soup or candles or shampoo etc
This stuff is really fantastic to my nose. I’ve never smelled the oft referenced
CH Men that seemingly always comes up in discussions of this fragrance. But to
me, Momentum Intense has some degree of similarity to something like Memo Paris’
Irish Leather, though much more subtle here. I think the...
no michael no no michael that was so not right
Smelling straight from bottle I was so excited to pick up photorealistic raw
honey, but as soon as I sprayed it, I was accosted with an overly medicinal and
syrupy wax-like quality that reminded me viscerally of the flavored wax used at
the dentist to polish teeth. Revisiting on the drydown, it...
I could make this complex, but I will keep it simple and classy for the
masses.......Call me DADDYYYY......because there are levels to this...........
Wow HussamRay below…you’re sooooo wrong!! You claimed most of the hate for
this…”was due to it being a middle eastern brand” this is soooo not true! We
were so excited to know Mona was behind this and yes that it was middle eastern
brand, why?? Because we expected strong Perfomers !? Sadly? Mona...
This is nice. It smells like a toss-up between Diptyque's Roses/Baies and Delina
Exclusif.
Terrible synthetic mess. The cinnamon combination with fruits is just very bad,
also gave me a headache don’t recommend. 3/10
Beautiful, really beautiful flowery scent. Fresh flowers! Violet! Lasting power
is quite good. I do not know why people write it is a summery scent. I have
noticed myself, that in the coldness it lasts way longer. When I just turned on
heater at home to warm up my hands and face, it blew up with...
Sprayed it on my hand at the store.. it nauseated me, gave me a headache, abused
me for the rest of the day because I couldn’t scrub it off
Unfortunately all I smell is the Cypriol oil. It's a very mature scent because
of that. It smells like something musky and woody from Avon in the 90s.
Whoa, I have a sample, and this is intriguing. Not in a niche with a hipster
name and disturbing note to elevate your coolness way but in a why haven't I
been introduced to these notes earlier kind of way. We all feel good bringing in
the garden grown tomatoes to our kitchen while the...
One of the Greatest fragrances released in 2023. The bottle and juice exude PURE
LUXURY. I believe this is Tomavicci's best release yet! Makes me very excited
for future releases! It is so promising. Very juicy opening of black currant
mixed with orange in the smoothest way like silk. It is...
So that's your cat! 🥰 she(?) was my favourite thing about the picture. It took
me a while to actually see her, and then was like KITTYYYYYY❤️❤️❤️ Stunning
account, followed
Mure et Musc was a huge disappointment for me. The Blackberry note is sharp and
unpleasant and doesn't smell like blackberry at all. I'm pleased I tried a
sample first and I won't be buying it.
Kind of obnoxious not to include the other half of his statement, somewhat
denying the many claims put forth here by pessimist fragrance connoisseurs: “I
owe this success to the talent and generosity of perfumers who followed me then
and to the many others who have since enriched our eclectic...
Same, she's my fave 🥰
The bottle and atomizer are literally high quality standards for niche
expensive. You definitely get what you pay for. If you want a safe, cheaper
electimuss, I'd highly recommend Electimuss Silvanus it's safe, very clean, and
has great performance. You will learn to love those bottles,...
My faves are Paul Smith Paul Smith Rose So fresh and green, but without that
awful metallic note so many perfumes of this type have. 4160 Tuesdays Who Knew?
Rose and tea, it's wonderful. Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady The classic rose
and longevity is brilliant. Yves Saint Laurent Paris...
@Sweet and Strong If you like this fragrance and lack sweetness, do try her
works.
Sounds divine!
Nothing can beat the original Michael for Men by Michael Kors from 2001. Dried
fruits, plum, suede, tobacco, cinnamon etc. One of the best. I have a few
bottles of it. So Im not excited by this new Pour Homme. Scent profiles these
days just don't measure up to the old ones.
Lovely story. The link between scent and memory fascinates me. My own perfumed
memory of elementary school is not so sanguine. For about a week, we had a nasty
substitute teacher who bragged about how she used to teach in New York City and
that made her "tough". Yeah, bullying...
I have to admit I have not tried these as I let myself fall victim to marketing,
and I find these bottles quite cheap looking. I will try to overlook that and
give them a shot!
They are blooming in our area right now and are quite beautiful!
Yves Saint Laurent Opium (1977)
@FunkyTomo I agree it is to expensive but I think waiting will bring them to the
discounters. If I found it deeply discounted I would pick it up. The perfume
game is fickle. Prices can drop suddenly. Much of my collection I found
discounted. During COVID.
We're all off on a wild ride with Eddie round the native tounge of Pudding
Island, please join us. English is such a complex language compared with some
others a dictionary is often required @toddprojects even for native speakers,
she said with love and kindness. Sometimes it is entertaining...
Such a marvellous article to read in an afternoon tea break! I appreciate these
huge and generous amounts of information. I am looking forward to hearing from
you more!
Thank you @shannfernando I'll look out for that 😊
Elena, your article is very beneficial for me and together with the photos,
simply a wonderful read. Well thank you.
I own a dabber and a full bottle, along with the original box. Both bought from
a local thrift store back in 2014 for the dabber, and the fb in 2018. I was
never really into perfumes back then, but I've always been a fan of Vivienne
Westwood. It's been my signature, since high school....
I have Eau Serge Lutens and I will say that it lasts, it lasted all day
yesterday, even in the evening I felt that I could go to a party without
spritzing myself with it. It seems to me that it has good durability - without
sustenance. And I'm also planning Parole.
