You have nothing to lose, everything to gain. When it comes to working in a trade, hands on experience is invaluable. Participating in the Youth Apprenticeship Program was a life-changing experience. It allowed me to discover my passion for automotive and gave me the opportunity to learn from skilled professionals. I’m grateful for the hands-on training and mentorship I received, setting me on a path to a fulfilling career in the trades. Liam, Steele Honda Work has been fun, been a great time working on the commercial side of things, look forward to furthering my education upon the electrical trade. I am very happy to have the opportunity to keep going this Fall, and it is teaching me so much everyday as it did the summer. Austin is working with Newfound Builders this summer and is learning about the importance of precise cuts, measurements, and assembly in his day to day. 12 youth participated in Summer 2023, in trades areas of: carpentry, electrical, millwright, welding, automotive and autobody. 3 have extended their placements into the Fall.
