Josh is an active member in the information security community – though more active behind the scenes these days. Josh is affiliated with IANS Research and retains ties to the SANS community, ISSA, Agile Iowa, OWASP, DC612, Central Iowa Area Linux Users Group and Infragard. In the pre-covid times, Josh used to go to security conferences and travel the world taking photos of critically endangered species, in between consulting engagements.
