Online Safety Act 2023


The Online Safety Act received Royal Assent on 26th October 2023. Ofcom
consultation on draft codes of practice and guidance for consultation closed Feb
2024 and HM Government expect them to be applied progressively from early 2025.

Keeping Children Safe in Education Update.


Keeping children safe in education 2023 came into force September 2023, and
SAFEcic has prepared this guidance document highlighting the changes from the
previous version.


The Department for Education has now released Keeping children safe in education
2024 (for information only) This update will come into force September 2024. The
changes are technical and listed on page 183 Annex F. 

SAFEcic is a not for profit community interest company dedicated to improving
safeguarding wordwide.

Important: Unlike commercial training companies, SAFEcic training credits do NOT
expire and vanish. Plus, if an unstarted course is no longer needed (e.g. job
change), we will transfer that credit back to you free of charge on request.
This means you will always be able to use all of the credits you purchase.
