WHAT IS THE RFU BUYING GROUP?

The RFU Buying Group is a service to support RFU Clubs in significantly reducing
their running costs and helping your club to access the best value services from
a broad range of approved suppliers.

We are specialists in establishing buying-groups within the sports sector
(including golf & tennis) to harness the collective purchasing power to leverage
significant discounts across a wide range of goods and services that are used by
rugby clubs.

Our aim is to help your club access high quality services at a reduced price,
assisting the financial sustainability of our network of rugby clubs across
England.

The RFU Buying Group is completely free and is another excellent benefit of the
RFU.


HOW CAN THIS SERVICE BENEFIT MY CLUB?

We know that many rugby clubs are under significant financial pressure, our
service looks at ways of easing some of your financial outgoings at no cost to
yourself.

We have saved grassroots community sports clubs thousands of pounds through our
buying group services.

Your club will be able to access our network of specialists, who will benchmark
your core areas of expenditure against their negotiated rates from their network
of approved suppliers and provide you details of savings the club could make.

Your club will also be able to access Contracts Manager, which is an easy to use
online management tool designed to manage all your service and utility
contracts.

THE PROCESS

The process will involve a confidential benchmarking exercise in agreed areas of
expenditure from which a savings will be presented with an opportunity to answer
any questions that may arise throughout the process.

RFU Buying Group will also provide training and access to Contracts-Manager and
assist with registration and loading of contracts.
