COVID-19 UPDATE

We are currently performing both face to face and telehealth consultations for
our patients. Please notify us at the time of booking if you are experiencing
flu-like symptoms including cough, sore throat, high temperature or fever.

We are taking special sanitary precautions at our premises including strict
social distancing in our waiting room. We ask our patients who require a
physical examination to contact us on (03) 5940 3133 from their car to notify
reception of their arrival. Patients’ doctor will then contact them and ask them
to come to their consulting room.

We thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation in efforts to minimise
the risk of exposure to Covid19.

Our team of doctors, nurses and support services shares a common goal, which is
to provide preventative and long-term health management for all of our patients.
We provide the highest quality of care for young families, adults, and seniors
alike. Our medical centre has been purpose built to provide high quality,
comprehensive and efficient service for a large and varied patient base.

With over four decades of experience, our medical team cover all general
practice services. We have a special interest in mental health counselling,
family planning, antenatal care, menopause, sexual health, women’s health, and
children’s health.

Our services also cover pre-employment and work health checks, TAC, sports
injuries, travel vaccinations, and minor surgery, as well as adult’s and
children’s immunisations.

Our practice offers bulk billing to both new and existing patients holding a
valid Medicare card with no out-of-pocket cost for standard consultations 7 days
a week.

* Patients not holding a valid Medicare card are billed $55.00 for a standard
consultation and $75.00 for a long consultation.

ABOUT PAKENHAM FAMILY HEALTH CENTRE

Established in 2010 and independently owned and managed, our medical centre is a
modern, fully computerised GP clinic. Our GPs are supported by four practice
nurses and an experienced and efficient administration team.

The medical centre offers on-site pathology service and is within easy walking
distance from radiology, allied health and specialist groups.


OUR FACILITIES

The facilities at the clinic are purpose-built and were designed to meet the
latest medical standards prescribed by the Royal Australian College of General
Practitioners. In addition to the comfortable and fully equiped consulting
rooms, the doctors have access to a designated treatment room designed for
procedures and immunisations.
