After completing the registration form, a COOP member will connect with you to
set up your free account. Then, get ready to start transacting!

Rent or List Vehicles

You can use the platform to find the vehicles you need or list idle ones in your
fleet. All of this can be done directly from a mobile device or desktop
computer. You can also speak with our expert team to discuss account management
options.

Pick-Up

Once a reservation is set to begin, both the vehicle owner and the driver using
the rental will need to upload photos of the vehicle’s condition on the platform
to start a rental and get on the road.

Drop-Off

When a vehicle is returned to its designated location, a reservation can be
completed by handing off the keys, documenting some information, and uploading
some return pictures.

What’s required to rent vehicles?


To qualify for an account and rent on COOP, all businesses must pass our
financial history check with Dun & Bradstreet and have an active USDOT number.

What types of vehicles can be listed to rent out?


Businesses can list most commercial trailers on the COOP platform in addition to
cargo vans, straight trucks, or tractors that are four years old or newer or are
part of a Ryder maintenance program. All vehicles must be submitted for review
and are subject to COOP approval.

What is the benefit of using commercial vehicle rentals for trailer pooling?


Using rental trailers to build a trailer pool can help businesses save costs,
improve efficiency, and reduce empty trailer miles by participating in trailer
pooling arrangements. Trailer pooling involves multiple companies sharing and
utilizing a common pool of commercial trailers to optimize transportation and
logistics operations.

Does COOP offer trailer delivery or transfer?


Yes, our team can assist with getting storage trailers to and from a desired
location if needed.

Do I need to provide my own insurance?


COOP offers hassle-free and cost-effective $100K physical damage and a $1M
liability policy to Renters, but you may use your own coverage if you meet the
requirements.

How does vehicle pick-up and drop-off work?


Vehicle pickup and drop-off is coordinated through a series of communications on
the platform and is required for every rental transaction. Drivers are asked to
upload photos of the vehicle to document its condition, mileage, fuel level, and
refrigeration hours (when applicable).

What should I do if a vehicle breaks down?


If a vehicle has a flat tire, a mechanical issue, or any other problem that
prevents you from traveling safely during a rental transaction, we can send
roadside assistance to help. Please contact our 24/7 Roadside Assistance at

What methods of payment are accepted by COOP?


COOP accepts all major credit cards for rental payments. For additional payment

If you’ve had rental transactions on the COOP platform, you can see and
download  your statements with just a few clicks. Here’s how:

1. Click the Get Statements button from your Renter Dashboard.

2. Your renter statement overview will open displaying your summary of charges.

3. Filter the statement(s) you need by reservation or date range.

4. To download the page as a PDF, right click anywhere in the top portion of the
page. To download the page as a csv file, right click the reservation and select
“Export”.
