ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION EXPERT SERENA K. LEE TO TAKE HELM AS CPR
PRESIDENT AND CEO - INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR CONFLICT PREVENTION &
RESOLUTION, INC

ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION EXPERT SERENA K. LEE TO TAKE HELM AS CPR
PRESIDENT AND CEO

Date postedFebruary 28, 2024
in Press Releases,

New York, NY - The International Institute for Conflict Prevention and
Resolution (CPR), a global non-profit organization that helps others manage
conflict so that they might better pursue their purpose, announced that Serena
K. Lee has been selected as CPR’s next President and CEO, effective April 1.

Lee joins CPR with extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
She received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School, where she also
received her mediation certification from the Kukin Program for Conflict
Resolution. She served as Vice President of the American Arbitration Association
until 2019. Lee then joined JAMS in 2019 and currently serves as the Vice
President of Operations, overseeing the San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and Seattle
resolution centers and home to approximately 65 neutrals.

Lee is the Chair of the California Lawyers Association's Litigation Section's
ADR Committee and a member of the Asian Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area,
where she was Education chair for many years. She is also a long-time member of
the American Bar Association’s Section of Dispute Resolution, where she served
on the Membership Committee and helped to develop, launch and chair the ABA-DR
Section's Fellowship program. Lee is licensed to practice law in New York.

"I am very excited for this opportunity to join such a prestigious and important
institution like CPR, where I can apply my passion for effective dispute
resolution with the help and guidance of the thought leaders in this space,” Lee
said. “My hope is that my many years of working with the two largest ADR
providers in the world will mean a new era of collaboration and mutually
beneficial projects that can continue CPR's mission to identify and provide
practical and innovative dispute prevention strategies."

“The CPR Board of Directors is excited to work with Serena to further CPR’s
mission,” said Laura Robertson, incoming Chair of the CPR Board of Directors and
Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at ConocoPhillips. “With her deep
experience and knowledge of alternative dispute resolution, she will
successfully lead CPR in its work as a sophisticated thought leader and a highly
regarded service provider.”

Lee will relocate to New York City, where CPR is based.
