Activity Overview

This online, on-demand virtual symposium brings together renowned experts who
treat patients with immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)–related cardiotoxicity.
These experts will discuss underlying pathophysiologic mechanisms and best
practices to monitor and treat patients with ICI-related cardiotoxicity. Patient
video vignettes will highlight key points with a focus on prompt recognition,
timely management, and the multidisciplinary team approach to care.

This educational activity is an archive of the live symposium held on April 2,
2022.

Target Audience

This educational activity is directed toward cardiologists and cardiology
subspecialists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:

 * Discuss the prevalence and risk factors for myocarditis and other
   cardiovascular immune-related adverse events (irAEs) observed with immune
   checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) use
 * Evaluate strategies for the prompt identification and diagnosis of
   cardiovascular irAEs among patients who receive ICI therapy
 * Determine best practices for the management of ICI-associated myocarditis and
   other cardiovascular-related irAEs
 * Incorporate practical multidisciplinary strategies to facilitate
   clinician-patient communication and counseling in settings of ICI-associated
   myocarditis
