Even though Cairns has an international airport that has over 3 million visitors
coming thru it annually Cairns city is still only a very small regional city.
Some of these arrivals holiday in the city whilst other inbound guests disperse
to other regions such as Palm Cove or Port Douglas or straight out to a
live-aboard dive boat on the Great Barrier Reef.

Even though Cairns is only small it still offers international style three, four

The city was built around the harbour and Trinity Inlet so you can find mid-rise

None of these five star hotels are self-catering they are true five star full

FIVE STAR SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION

There are two five star self-catering holiday apartment complexes located on the
Cairns Esplanade and they offer views over the parklands and out to the ocean.
They offer one, two and three bedroom apartments and the ground floor apartments
also offer swim out rooms that give you direct access to slide into the swimming
pool from your balcony.


SWIM OUT ROOMS

Swim out rooms are by far the most popular type of holiday accommodation as you
do not even have to leave your apartment to walk thru the resort to get to the
swimming pools. The swim out rooms sell out very quickly so we  suggest that you
call to book your accommodation early to ensure you can secure a swim out room
for yourself and your travelling party.

FOUR STAR HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

There are around twenty eight four star style accommodation houses in Cairns and
these range from full service hotels to self-catering holiday apartments. Some
are located city central near the Cairns Convention Centre or right in the
central business district in amongst the shopping.

Cairns Three star accommodation is scattered around city central and also on the
