How to prepare for my first consultation?

Your first consultation is necessary to provide us with a broad overview of your
problem. We will provide you with a basic roadmap on the way forward to
resolution.

Do you assist with Ante-nuptial contracts?

Yes, we can provide you with a an ante-nuptial contract to protect your
interests in case of a divorce. Drafting this contract can take up to 6 weeks.

How long will my court case take?

Each court case is unique and it is not possible to determine how long your
court case will take. The High Court has issues guidelines for timeframes
however these sometimes not possible to adhere to. As a rule of thumb, criminal
cases can take several years where as divorce and corporates cases can take 6
months to 2-3 years.

What happens if I loose the court case?

If you loose your court case the judge will decide and explain in detail on the
way forward. Usually the judge awards the opposing party some form of financial
compensation for the incident. You may also be required to pay the opposing
parties legal fees or a portion thereof.

How do I prepare for court?

It is very important that you are calm on the day of your court appearance. You
must dress formally and professionally with closed shoes. No Jeans or t-shirts.

Do you assist with international legal matters?

Yes, our founder, Loini Shikale-Ambondo, is a Masters in International Law
degree holder from the University of Cape Town and an LLB degree holder from the
University of the Western Cape. She has over 14 years of experience and has
unquestionably specialized skills.

Yes, in an ever-changing corporate legal frameworks and international body
policies we stay abreast all policy changes to ensure that your business remains
compliant to avoid potentially costly penalties from local and international
authorities.
