KEDARNATH TEMPLE GOLD UTTARAKHAND NEWS: GOLD WORTH 1.25 BILLION RUPEES IS BEING
CLAIMED MISSING FROM THE KEDARNATH TEMPLE IN UTTARAKHAND. CHARDHAM MAHAPANCHAYAT
VICE-PRESIDENT SANTOSH TRIVEDI SAYS THAT LAST YEAR BRASS WAS INSTALLED IN THE
SANCTUM SANCTORUM, NOT GOLD. WHERE DID THE GOLD GO IN SUCH A SITUATION, WHICH
SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.

Abhishek Agarwal, Rudraprayag: In Kedarnath Dham, the walls inside the temple
were plated with gold last year. According to the information, 230 kg of gold
was donated by a businessman from Mumbai. Many gold plates were made from this
and they were installed in the sanctum sanctorum inside the temple. Now the
discussion about the disappearance of gold has started from here. Santosh
Trivedi, Vice President of Char Dham Mahapanchayat, has alleged that a layer of
brass has been pasted in the name of gold in Kedarnath Dham. Through this a scam
worth 1.25 billion rupees has been carried out. Santosh Trivedi said that if
immediate action is not taken against the culprits, a huge mass movement will be
organized. Santosh Trivedi said that the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Kedar, the
center of faith of crores of Hindus and Sanatanis, was decorated with gold only
a few days before the doors were closed last year. Now the matter of it being
brass is coming to the fore. He said that carrying out this type of misdeed is
an affront to the faith of crores of Hindus and Sanatanis. It should be
impartially investigated and action should be taken against the culprits with
immediate effect. If this does not happen, then a grand mass movement will be
carried out in the coming few days.


THERE WAS OPPOSITION TO GOLD PLATING

Vice President of Char Dham Mahapanchayat Santosh Trivedi said that when there
was talk of making the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Kedar gold plated, at that time
all the responsible people associated with the temple along with Chardham
Mahapanchayat opposed it. He said that tradition has been interfered with by
making the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Kedar gold plated. Now after this rigging,
the faith of the people has been attacked.
