PROBLEM:

 * As a Driver, I would like to be able to easily inform a warehouse employee in
   person or on the phone about which appointment I am interested.

 * As a Warehouse user I would like to quickly search for an appointment by a
   confirmation number or appt id read to me from an email or over the phone.



 * Details
   
   * It is difficult to distinguish between certain letters when hearing them
     spoken, i.e. n & m, b & v, etc.
   
   * When there are 32 characters display but a user only needs to pay attention
     to the first 8 characters, it requires training each user, either through
     actual training or extra tooltips, reducing some of the simplicity and
     easy-to-use concepts for which Opendock is known.
   
   * Users do not care about the ACTUAL UUID value, they just want an easy way
     to identify the right appt.

 * Integrations
   
   * As an external integration developer working with a legacy system with
     character type/length restrictions, I would like a way to uniquely identify
     an appt without having to break the UUID up into multiple fields, find a
     place to put them, then reconstitute the UUID when querying Opendock

BACKEND



 * Create an identity property on the appointment entity
   
   * It is indexed for quick lookup
   
   * It is ALWAYS auto-generated upon insert
   
   * It is sequential
   
   * It is numeric
   
   * We estimate it will reach 1B in the next couple years which is 10 digits
   
   * It will not replace the Appointment UUID in our urls
   
   * [Possibly] We may create an alternate endpoint to find appts directly by
     this value, ie findByConfirmationNumber




UX/EMAIL



 * Add Confirmation Number to emails, make it more prominent than the ID

 * Add Confirmation Number to lists, view screens, reports, etc
