VIAVI ENCORE CERTIFIED REFURBISHED EQUIPMENT: A SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE

Companies are increasingly shifting to more sustainable operations and
procurement practices that not only address environmental concerns but also

A SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE

The ENCORE program provides a more sustainable alternative to buying new, with
benefits ranging from:

 * Reduced E-Waste: According to the World Health Organization, e-waste is one
   of the fastest growing solid waste streams and presents a threat to human
   health and the environment. Every year, millions of tons of electronic waste
   end up in landfills. Choosing ENCORE helps extend product life,  reducing
   e-waste and environmental impact.
 * Lower Carbon Footprint: Refurbishing uses less resources and energy than
   manufacturing.  By opting for ENCORE, greenhouse gas emissions associated
