I attended the "Employment Standards Certification" workshop last week and it
was excellent! This course was so well put together, every question I came to
the course with was answered! James is very knowledgeable. The course was
interesting and very informative and kept me engaged the entire time. I highly

Extremely informative training course. James the instructor is engaging and

I attended an online workshop on Employment Standards. We discussed new changes
and reviewed current key pieces of the legislation. It was very informative and
James was very thorough in his explanation. Open conversation with HR
professionals was very much encouraged and the breakout rooms were very well
organized and relevant to the subject matter. Thoroughly enjoyed sharing ideas
on how to handle real workplace scenarios. James, thank you for making an
otherwise dry topic, fun, helpful and relevant!

Really enjoyed my training with James and the team. I participated in the online
training course and it was such an enjoyable experience. James went into detail
and provided industry examples to help us get a better understanding. James
really kept the team engaged which lead there to be multiple conversations
across the HR professionals and majority of the professionals in the training
had their camera on! I also really enjoyed the office staff, they are so nice
and helpful! If you are looking for online training for either yourself, your

fitting. It was super quick and easy. All the employees that greeted me were

I recently attended a Workplace Investigations Training course with Workplace
Law Consulting Inc. and it was really well delivered. The course information was
informative, relevant/up to date and the instructor was very well educated.
There was a good mix of slide deck presentation, breakout rooms and question and
answer periods in terms of delivery methods. The course kept me engaged the
entire time and I would recommend it to an HR or OHS professional.

Fantastic experience! The training course was organized. Instructor Angelo was
really competent. I dropped by on a short notice, learned so much quickly to
pass the tests, and walked out of the door as a certified forklift driver.

A Fantastic learning experience. James is a great presenter with a lot of
experience to share. He is knowledgeable well spoken. Definitely the best
virtual learning experience I have had. He presented current and relevant
information and was able to keep the audiences attention. The mix of learning,

was a great and fun way to wrap up all of the information presented in an

inclusivity in the discussions. The speaker mainly engaged with only a select
few, leaving others with limited opportunities to participate. As a diverse HR
employee attending the course, I never had the chance to share my challenges in
a Canadian workplace. I believe a more inclusive approach to discussions would
have enriched the learning experience for everyone involved.

Nice to have a certificate but at $300 a course it would be nice if they taught
the full course. Leadership course was only 2/3 finished and in the 6 hour time
period they took almost 2 hours in breaks.

I loved the training program which my new boss recommended. It was superbly well
facilitated by James and Lorina. Very engaging content, delivery and lots of
real-world scenarios/ cases discussed within a super-interactive group of HR
professionals across industries. Excellent balance of slides, video clips,
case-studies discussed in break-out groups, polling questions, quizzes and one
quirky post-lunch icebreaker included :-) I highly recommend this learning
experience for the experienced as well as new HR business Partners.

The main content was as expected and beneficial. I felt that the start and the
end of the program landed a little flat. There were no introductions and it
began with the spin of an electronic wheel to select the winner of a WLC gift
certificate. The last 20 minutes was a Kahoot quiz and then it was over. No
review or room for comments. I absolutely see the need for technology and
variety in today's presentations, but don't think it is a substitute for real
connection. Overall, the program covered the main points of teaching and
training and was the review that I was looking for.

I came to workplace law to learn cpr and first aid. James and Angelo were
amazing and was really helpful while teaching the lesson. They were very nice to
me and made sure i understood what i was being taught. i 100% recommend coming
to WPL for first aid and cpr lessons!!

I found the Occupational Health & Safety Management Certificate Course to be
very comprehensive and detailed. The facilitators were both excellent and guided
us through the program effectively. The course covered an abundance of very
usable material and information. If I have one complaint that requires
improvement I would comment on the Khoots method for answering the thirty
question quiz at the end of the course. I would have prefered to have been given
the ability to answer the questions using my laptop. Having to answer the
questions using my phone put me at a disadvantage because my phone screen would
go to black after ten seconds and I spent more time trying to unlock my phone
screen and get back to the question answering screen. This caused a lot of
questions to time out and I didn't get to answer all the questions. If we were
at least told of how this worked I could have set my phone auto lock to a higher
time and avoided this issue altogether . Apart from that the course was
excellent and I plan to take more courses through Workplace Law Consulting.

The Workplace Violence and Investigation meeting was very informative. It was
more focused to the HR aspects, but lots of things were taken away for my job
title that can be useful. The breakout meetings I felt could be a little longer
and the if we could have gotten the full story of the situation it would have
helped. There were so many holes in the stories to solve that it made it
complicated to come up with an honest review with feedback. The investigative
material was great and if you could provide the information back to the
individuals that participated that would be better for review purposes.

Amazing training session - one of, if not, the most engaging virtual training
sessions I have attended. The presenters used a variety of media to keep the
audience engaged (a mix of speaking, visuals, videos, case studies, polls,
kahoot, breakout rooms, and even a wheel to spin to choose who will answer
questions lol). Questions were encouraged and answered thoughtfully - overall I
would highly recommend and would take another training from Workplace Law
Consulting Inc.

I've had to obtain many certificates over my years in the construction industry.
I struggle with a learning disability that can hinder my ability to absorb
knowledge. James (my instructor) made sure he went over all the material with me
prior to taking the test. He gave me the confidence to pass with flying colors.
Many times I have struggled to understand instructors with thick accents and
have been negatively impacted as a result. I could understand everything James
was saying with total clarity. He even goes above and beyond for the people whom
did not speak English well. He took his time and translated all the material
into their native language. I'm very impress with this place and James teaching
ability. Sarah (new employee) was such a pleasure to deal with. 5 star
professionalism and service. I will be returning to complete my Supervisor
Competency Training certificate.

friendly and experienced team. Classes are taken in a very nice environment with

The course was easy to follow and facilitator was engaging. The break out groups
were good and if there isn't an appointed facilitator in the break out group it
would be good to notify the groups prior to breaking out in order to self-start.

Very helpful course. So many great takeaways. For example, what employee
engagement is vs what it is not. It is not happiness, a happy workplace, or
employee satisfaction, but it is the emotional commitment one has to the
organization and the organization's goals. I can't share all I learned here -
there is so much! I look forward to implementing some ideas at the company I

Great learning opportunities. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakout sessions and post
discussions. Great opportunity to stay up on current legislation and
requirements has an HR professional. The only disadvantage is that I'm on the
west coast and so they're early rise and learn events!

Really enjoyed the course I took. The instructor was great, material was
thorough with lots of great case studies. Breakout rooms were good to hear
others' thoughts. There were great resources shared during the session, as well

I greatly benefited from this one-day course, as a good introduction to the
subject of the workplace conflict resolution. The best part was an opportunity
do discuss scenarios based on real-life cases. More experienced conflict
resolution practitioners would likely require a deeper dive into the subject
matter. The instructor and the team were knowledgeable and efficient. I would
strongly recommend!

I really enjoyed this course. The information was tangible and easy to follow. I
felt that the end of the course was a little rushed, and that was unfortunate as
it was demonstrating communication skills on how to diffuse conflict; having the
difficult conversations, etc. Personally, I was hoping to see more of that. I
understand the types of conflict, but demonstrations on how to "actually"
communicate and diffuse conflict; demonstrations or videos showing how these
conversations can take place where skills that I had hoped to gain from this
course. I am hoping that the slide deck will be forwarded or some of the videos
that were used, as I found them helpful. I will be signing up for more of these
courses through Workplace Law, very helpful.
