SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN TESTING FOR ROBOTICS (M/F/D)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 * Testing and evaluation of our robot-autonomy-framework 
 * Setting up infrastructure and tooling to enhance automatic test execution and
   reporting 
 * Performing tests on real hardware 
 * Support in improving the stability of our product

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

At Agile Robots AG we are developing intelligent robotic systems and automation
solutions. The complexity of such systems and the tasks, that have to be solved
autonomously, increases rapidly. Therefore, professional frameworks 
and tools for programming robots efficiently are required. 

We build a robot-autonomy framework for modeling the configuration and the
autonomous behavior of complex robotic systems. This includes tools for skill
programming and parameterization, semantic data modeling and processing, and
system configuration. 

Currently, we are searching for a candidate with a general background in
computer science, robotics, and software engineering to become part of our
team. 

You will join a fast-moving, international team developing both prototypes and
products

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

 * Bachelors/Masters (or comparable practical experience) in computer science or
   related fields
 * 3+ years of work experience 
 * Knowledge about test frameworks
 * Passionate software engineer and programmer 
 * Experience with Python 
 * Experience in Jira and Confluence 
 * Proficiency in Linux 
 * Experience in docker 
 * Experience with versioning systems (e.g. GitLab) and CI technology 
 * Fluency in English

BENEFICIAL SKILLS

 * Knowledge of web communication technologies (such as GraphQL, REST, and
   WebSockets) 
 * Experience in robotics 
 * Experience in data modeling and database systems 
 * Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns 
 * Experience in C++
 * Experience in contributing to open-source software
