About the Limona Group

The Limona Group was formed in 1981 by two local business people with a strong
desire to build quality homes and provide excellent customer service. Holding
firm to that vision, the Limona Group creates architecturally innovative and
environmentally sensitive communities under the experienced leadership of
Michael Baier and John Sercombe. An impressive track record building many of the
larger, single-family housing neighborhoods and waterfront developments on
Vancouver Island, along with numerous commercial projects, cements Limona
Group's reputation as a leader in the industry. Achieving success in business is
no easy accomplishment, but to expand on success for more than thirty years is
rare. The company's unwavering dedication to excellence, both in home
construction and customer service, has resulted in many accolades and awards
over the years.

As the 2014 Gold winner for Outdoor Environmental Achievement and 2013 Gold
winner for Green Builder of the Year, it is evident that Limona is dedicated to
ensuring home buyers receive excellent value for their investment.


Our Vision

The Limona Group's vision is to shape raw land through astute planning into
thriving communities where families can grow and prosper.  To make the vision a
reality, Limona diligently works with all levels of government, professional
consultants and the public to ensure each project suits the community plan.

Building Green For YouThe Limona Group was the first builder in British Columbia
to embrace the Built Green BC program. We have incorporated the latest energy
saving technologies in over 325 homes since our enrollment in the program, in
2005. Our homes have been individually rated as gold and platinum under the
energuide efficiency standard. Limona Group has been recognized on numerous
occasions for their commitment to the environment, most recently we were awarded
the 2014 Gold CARE Award for Outdoor Environmental Achievement, as well as the
2013 Gold CARE Award for Green Builder of the Year – Large Volume. Fortis 2015

In May of 2015 Limona Construction was the Fortis 2015 Efficiency in Action -
Large Single Family Project recipient for their 69 lot subdivision, Summerstone.

In 2008, Limona Construction was recognized as being a builder of high-quality
energy-efficient homes that showed leadership in creating a more
energy-efficient, environmentally responsible construction industry. They were
presented the Power Smart Excellence Awards for Builder/Developer of the Year by
BC Hydro.

The Canadian Home Builders Association CARE Awards of Vancouver Island,
(Construction Achievements and Renovations of Excellence), recognizes the
winning efforts of Vancouver Island’s professional builders, developers,
architects and designers, landscape architects, interior designers, and sales
and marketing professionals.

Since 2001, Limona Construction has been recognized by the Canadian Home
Builders Association a total of 85 times, winning 20 Gold and 65 Silver Care
Awards for their innovative and enviromentally-friendly building projects.
