WHITEST BEACHES IN AUSTRALIA

Esperance has some of Australia's whitest sand. Its countless sugary beaches are
best seen via the 38 kilometre (24 mile) Great Ocean Drive. Along the drive,
Twilight Bay is a firm favourite for its translucent, turquoise waters, sculpted
rock formations, picnic tables and showers. Out of town, Lucky Bay has sand so
fine, it squeaks when you walk on it.


KANGAROOS ON THE BEACH

About 60 kilometres to the east of Esperance, Cape Le Grand National Park
harbours low scrub, mountain peaks and people-free beaches. Its main drawcard is
Lucky Bay, where kangaroos lie on the blindingly white sand, not far from a
recently expanded public campground. They are so friendly they come right up to
you. You will enjoy petting them and watching them wander across the beach.


UNTOUCHED COASTAL SCRUB

Lining the Esperance coast, more than 100 smooth, rock islands are scattered in
the navy blue ocean. Most never have a soul on them, but some can be visited. 15
kilometres (9 miles) away is where the nature reserve is open for camping
between September and April. You can also take a boat cruise to Middle Island,
where you'll find the bright pink Lake Hillier

Ocean Beach Holiday Units are situated 100m from the Tanker Jetty and beach, and
only a short walk to the centre of town. Walk along the beachfront with
panoramic views of the Bay and Islands, fish from the Jetty, swim in the crystal
blue water of the Esperance Bay or just relax and enjoy your stay, because
Esperance has it all.

We want to make your holiday in Esperance one you will never forget and we look

Relaxing Break

These units are a wonderful budget friendly home away from home. We stayed here
for 3 nights and enjoyed all the comforts of home. Just around the corner from
the beautiful Esperance foreshore. So peaceful no noise around us. The DVD
player wouldn't work so we mentioned it and had a replacement straight away. The
units are clean and have all that you need to be self contained. Look forward to
another stay.

Our one-bedroom unit is clean, spacious and fully equipped. The queen-sized bed
was comfortable and there was plenty of bedding (useful given Esperance can be
cold at night). The units are well-located, a block back from the beach front
and 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of Esperance. There is plenty of parking on
site. We also found the owners, Cheryl and Harry, very friendly.

So pleased we finally got to experience this great place after having to cancel
12 months previously. At the last minute our booking changed from 2 to 3 when we
decided to take our adult daughter with us and Cheryl made sure we had a unit
that would be more comfortable for us all. The unit was well equipped, clean and
had a full stove and good size fridge which was great for us as we like to self
cater.

OUR TARIFFS

The Ocean Beach Holiday Units are based on the family budget.

$160 a double/night $20 an extra person for low season
$180 a double/night $20 an extra person for mid season
$200 a family unit/night for high season
Low season: June & July
High season: December, January, February & all School Holidays, Long
Weekends/Easter
Mid season: other periods not specified above

Check out time is 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise arranged
Check in time is 2:00 p.m. unless otherwise arranged
All prices are inclusive of GST
All bookings to be paid in full on arrival, and no refund on early departures
Bankcard, Visa & Master-card facilities
During school holidays and busy periods, please check in after 2:00 p.m. with
check out time before 10:00 a.m.
Your room will be kept until 4:00 p.m. unless you have contacted us
No animals are permitted in the units
