SMU CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF IMPACT WITH THE BUSH CENTER

SMU celebrates the 10th anniversary of the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
Since 2013, the Center has brought world leaders to Dallas, boosted the regional
economy, and provided unique opportunities for SMU students and faculty.


INAUGURAL SMU+GSV MISSION SUMMIT TO FOCUS ON 'CAPITALISM REFRESH'

The SMU+GSV Summit will gather a mix of entrepreneurs, investors and leaders on
the SMU campus May 22-24.


TAKING CENTER STAGE

Philanthropist and Broadway producer G. Marlyne Sexton has made a $15 million
gift to SMU Meadows School of the Arts to create a specialization in musical
theatre that will prepare graduates for a lifetime of leading roles.


SMU EQUESTRIAN TEAM WINS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

It's been 20 years since SMU announced it would add Equestrian to its roster of
sports. The win against Auburn completed the best season in program history.

CONVOCATION

Tyler has led McKesson through a significant period of transformation, building
upon the company’s strength as a distributor to make an even greater impact in
the areas of oncology and biopharma services.


STRENGTHENING THE UNIVERSITY’S FUTURE

Dallas-Fort Worth business leader and entrepreneur Jack Knox ’60 ’63 has given
$11 million to SMU Ignited: Boldly Shaping Tomorrow. As a prominent alumnus and
longtime University supporter, Knox hopes his support of the University’s
campaign for impact encourages others to participate.

LYLE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING SUMMER CAMPS

During the month of June - (SMU Campus)

Summer camp programs for students in 6th through 12th grades. These summer camps
are authentically Lyle, as the facilities, staff, and curriculum are all unique
to the Lyle School of Engineering.
