Working behind the scenes as one of our mail sorters, you’ll thrive in a
fast-paced environment and be comfortable standing for long periods of time.

It’s an important, hands-on role, and will see you process mail arriving from
all over the country and help ensure every parcel, letter, and present safely
reaches the right destination, at the right time.

as you work out and about as one of our drivers delivering mail and parcels to
the heart of your local community.

mail across our network.

All our temporary drivers are required to work flexibly across a number of
locations and wide range of shifts.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

For all of our roles, we’re looking for people who have brilliant organisational
skills and a detail-orientated, self-motivated approach to work. As one of our
mail sorters, you’ll also need to be able to push trolleys up to 250kg, lift and
move mail bags up to 11kg, and be comfortable on your feet for long periods
throughout the day.

For all customer facing roles, you’ll be acting as a representative of Royal
Mail. So we’re looking for upbeat, patient, friendly, and trustworthy
individuals who can build a natural rapport and connection with our customers
and deliver a first-class service with every interaction.

WHAT DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS LOOK LIKE AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Our Christmas Seasonal Worker application is really quick and easy. Once you’ve
completed our online application form, you’ll be invited to upload some
documents and a passport style photograph. We’ll then ask you to visit a Post
Office to have your documents verified. Assuming all is in order you’ll then
receive a job offer which you can accept online before getting exclusive access
to our online Welcome Hub.

For the other roles available, our recruitment partners will guide you through
their quick application processes.

This depends on what role you apply for; our shifts range from part-time to
full-time hours of work. Flexibility is key and you may be asked to work
different times and days within your chosen shift pattern, but this will be
confirmed on a site-by-site basis.

The vast majority of our roles are based at our Mail Centres and Regional
Distribution Centres. As a member of our Royal Mail Family, you will be a key
