GOVERNANCE AND DEMOCRACY REFORM

The United National Bloc (UNB) advocates for a foundational reform of governance
and democracy, striving to dismantle the prevailing system of entrenched
political elitism. Our goal is to instate a government that genuinely represents
the will and diversity of the populace, ensuring that decision-making is driven
by the interests of all citizens, not just a privileged few. We commit to
instituting policies that emphasize fairness, transparency, and accountability,
restoring faith in the democratic process.


 * POLITICAL AND LOBBYING REFORM
   
   The UNB wants to abolish traditional lobbying, putting an end to backroom
   deals and undue influence from special interests. Instead, we advocate for
   the establishment of expert advisory panels to ensure policymaking is guided
   by evidence-based recommendations. We’re committed to widening public
   participation by improving consultation processes, allowing for a more
   inclusive and transparent policy development.


 * TERM LIMITS AND ELECTORAL REFORM 
   
   The UNB is committed to enacting term limits for Congress and the Supreme
   Court to ensure continuous innovation in governance. We also propose a
   constitutional amendment to shift the presidential election from the
   Electoral College to a popular vote, truly reflecting the will of the people.


 * VOTING ACCESS EXPANSION
   
   Extend voting periods to span from Friday evening through Sunday evening,
   making Saturday and Sunday federal paid holidays to ensure all businesses are
   closed, allowing everyone the opportunity to vote. Implement automatic voter
   registration for all eligible citizens and significantly improve the
   accessibility of voting locations and methods.


 * TAX CODE AND PUBLIC FINANCING
   
   The UNB pledges to transform the U.S. tax system, anchoring it in the
   principles of fairness and efficiency. Our vision is to reconstruct the tax
   code from the ground up—removing tax loopholes, making it straightforward and
   ensuring it robustly supports essential public services. such as education
   and healthcare, ensuring a prosperous future for every citizen.

and ensure that every citizen has the foundational support needed to achieve
their full potential. By prioritizing these cornerstones of a healthy society,
we aim to bridge divides and create an environment where prosperity is
accessible to all.


 * NEW EDUCATION REFORM
   
   The UNB is dedicated to forging pathways to success for every American by
   making education from pre-kindergarten through college universally accessible
   and affordable. We believe in dismantling financial barriers to education,
   thereby unlocking the potential of millions and setting the foundation for a
   more informed, skilled, and equitable society.


 * HEALTHCARE SYSTEM OVERHAUL 
   
   The UNB commits to a healthcare revolution, ensuring comprehensive,

   encompasses medical, prescription, mental, dental, and optical care,
   prioritizing efficiency and equity to establish a system where health is a
   right, not a privilege.


 * SOCIAL SUPPORT REFORM

   enhanced public assistance programs, designed not just as a safety net but as

   The UNB is unwavering in our dedication to enhancing public safety through
   responsible gun ownership. We advocate for comprehensive background checks, a
   national gun registry, and strict regulations on the storage and handling of
   firearms, ensuring that guns are kept out of the wrong hands while respecting
   the rights of law-abiding citizens.


 * ADVANCEMENTS IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE
   
   The UNB is committed to transforming the criminal justice system into one
   that emphasizes rehabilitation over punishment, fairness over disparity, and
   community over isolation. By reforming sentencing, improving police
   accountability, and fostering community relations, we seek to create a system
   that is just, equitable, and effective for all.


 * POLICE STANDARDS AND ENHANCEMENT
   
   The UNB acknowledges the vital role that law enforcement plays within our
   communities and is committed to elevating the standards of policing
   nationwide. At the heart of our approach is the introduction of a mandatory,
   comprehensive 2-year federal policing degree for all aspiring officers, prior
   to their admission into any law enforcement academy. 
   
   This initiative is designed to equip law enforcement personnel with not only
   the necessary skills and knowledge but also a strong ethical foundation,
   fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and professionalism. 
   
   Our objective is to ensure that every officer is prepared to serve their
   community effectively, enhancing public safety and rebuilding trust between
   law enforcement and the communities they serve.
