GREAT STAY!
I picked this hotel to go to a Giants game and it was fantastic. The room
was big and the bed was super comfortable. Also, the morning breakfast
before the game was sensational.

GOOD LOOKING HOTEL BUT LACKS IN CLEANLINESS
While the hotel looks great and has great customer service, the towels I
was provided for upon arrival as well as after a room cleaning all were
dirty. My bedding was stained and you can hear all of the noise from the
hallway that wakes you up throughout the night.

WILL STAY AGAIN
A family stay, therefore and mixture of ages and needs during the stay. All
of my family found something for them and were pleased. The kids enjoyed
the pool and breakfast options. Adults enjoyed the gym and cleanliness and
space of the rooms. The location of the computers could be improved for
privacy. The front desk staff were polite and accommodating. The room staff
and kitchen staff were responsive to requests. Proximity to the American
Dream Mall was ideal.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY.
Overall this hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable
about the area and MetLife stadium (where I was headed for a Navy game).
The rooms make sense for the lay out but the TV’s placement was a little
weird for me personally. My friends and I had a great experience using the
lobby/bar area for a late night snack. Our only “complaint” would be some
of the guest we hammered and I felt like they shouldn’t have been served
anything else. I don’t think the staff is at fault in that case. Overall, I
enjoyed my stay. Great staff and clean rooms is all I could ask for.

I EXPECTED BETTER ACCOMMODATIONS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
The outside of the hotel was appealing we arrived inside, and the vibe
changed. I walked up to the counter and saw people who were sitting down
waiting for a room. I realized we were early, so I was okay with that, but
I was taken aback by absolutely no greeting or smile. I did the greeting
and smiled. It was clear this wasn't going to be the normal Marriott
experience. Finally, it was my time to check in, and without looking at my
profile or asking any questions, he just assigned me a room. I asked what
floor it was on and requested the highest floor. I was told no rooms were
ready on that floor, so I requested to wait. At no point was I ever offered
another option. Theses are just a few issues I had with this stay. I'm not
sure if I would stay here again it was actually bad enough to request a
refund.

The hotel was well appointed and convenient for our stay. There are not
many dining options in the area without having to drive a distance. My only
negative regarding the property is that we did not have a hairdryer in our
room and the one they brought us did not function, but the response was
timely, and it was resolved. Also our coffee was not replenished properly
in the room, we received decaffeinated coffee and no regular coffee.
Otherwise, I will definitely stay at this property again.
