Should I choose DIRECTV STREAM or DIRECTV Satellite?


The primary difference between DIRECTV STREAM and DIRECTV Satellite is how TV
gets delivered into your home.

With DIRECTV STREAM, you stream content over Wi-Fi or other Internet connection.
A strong Internet connection is required. You can purchase the DIRECTV STREAM
Device (sold separately, for an additional cost) to watch, or you can use the
DIRECTV STREAM app, which is available on a variety of streaming devices,
phones, tablets, and more.

With DIRECTV Satellite, a professional technician sets up a satellite dish to
receive signal, and that relays to an HD DVR box inside your home.

DIRECTV offers DIRECTV STREAM and DIRECTV Satellite to give you the flexibility

live in an area where you’re unable to get consistent high-speed Internet, you

Do these services include local channels?


Every DIRECTV STREAM and DIRECTV Satellite packages includes access to local
channels, but local channel availability is based on your billing ZIP code.
