OUR STORY

It all started with a simple “right-swipe” on the Facebook dating app, the two
began chatting online frequently; unexpected of what’s to come about from it. On
a spontaneous day after Thanksgiving, Chris picked up Mavi for the first time
from her sister’s home in Deltona. They drove to Orlando and ate at what is now
their regular go-to restaurant, the Volcano Hot Pot. Mavi was initially
uncomfortable because Chris was shy and didn’t talk much. Chris had long hair, a
nose ring, and unkempt facial hair. He physically wasn’t Mavi’s ideal man, but
there was something about him that kept drawing her to him. Mavi was a proper
young lady, with a sweet whispery voice, and a headband collection which Chris
adored. Mavi and Chris overtime created a warm bond together, and have became
inseparable since. They have concluded that adventure and travel is their love
language, so together they traveled and worked up and down the southeast United
States as travel nurses, as well as backpacked throughout Europe. Chris kneeled
down and proposed to Mavi on May 12, 2023 in front of the Tower Bridge in
London.
