Chaparro beans

Smokey Braised Chaparro Beans!

I braised a big batch of these Chaparro beans for an event I catered recently
and they were the talk of the night. I added charred onions, lots of garlic,
chipotle peppers in adobo, soy sauce and then at the end a teeny splash of
liquid smoke (controversial, I know). They were so SO good. Rich, hearty, smokey
and completely vegetarian/vegan friendly. Primary beans are THE best beans ever.
This was my third or fourth order and I'm blown away every time.

Amazing beans - be wary of the cook time!

Love the variety of beans I got to try through bean membership and the recipe
ideas provided by the Primary Beans team. Through cooking several recipes, I
found that the pressure cooking times listed on the website were not accurate
(beans took at least 25 minutes longer for me to be pressure cooked), which put
my meal/cooking schedule behind. Just something to note!

Try Some! You’ll like them!

The mayocoba beans are buttery and creamy and delicious. I’m still experimenting
with the best flavor combos, but they’d work well with many recipes where white
beans are used. As an added plus, the order response and shipping times are
excellent. Highly recommend Primary Beans!

Life changing

These beans are so amazingly delicious. I liked beans before but these beans are
on another planet. They are the beaniest beans I’ve ever had. Grocery store
beans are only like 10% and these beans are 100! The recipes on the website and
the members only recipes have also been phenomenal. My cooking is next level
just starting with a pot of beans. I’ve made many of the recipes multiple times
and they have become new staples in our quick and easy dinner rotations. I’m sad
I ever lived without primary beans. Thank you for your service, you are a true
hero.

Yummy

I really enjoyed the beans I purchased. They had a great flavor and very
filling. I like that you can freeze them for another meal.
