With online participation also available, there’s a way for everyone to help destigmatise dementia. Map & Event Details WALK WITH ME 2021 MORETON BAY DEMENTIA ALLIANCE WE'RE DESTIGMATISING DEMENTIA, ONE STEP AT A TIME Beginning on World Alzheimer’s Day, Dementia Action Week is a week dedicated to raising awareness, reducing the stigma, and showing our community support for people living with dementia. This year, it runs from 20-26 September. We’re celebrating with a walk for dementia on Thursday, 23 September at 9:30 AM. Book your $10 ticket now to join us at the North Lakes Hotel Conference & Function Centre for Dementia presentations, education stalls and complementary morning tea. We will then walk around beautiful Lake Eden to raise awareness for people living with dementia, their families, and their carers.
