Beyond the Veil is a collaborative roleplaying game wherein the Players, led by
an Overseer, explore other-worldly mysteries that will shock, scare, and shake

Set in the modern-day, your group may investigate ghost sightings at an
abandoned asylum, scrutinise tales of shapeshifting killers, or parley with
visitors from beyond the stars. At first, you’ll take on the role of amateur
investigators, exploring the unknown and separating fact from fiction, one local
mystery at a time. Later, as professionals, you will uncover global mysteries,
discover deeper secrets of the universe, and face shadowy global factions whose
quest for knowledge may not be as honourable as your own.

 

But you are not alone. Investigators work under the watchful eye of the
‘Supernatural and Paranormal Society,’ a secret organisation that monitors,
contains, and hides unexplained phenomena from the unprepared masses, protecting
the populace from harm.

 

You will have to take up arms and fight if you want to protect others from some
of the malign entities you discover. But there will also be a need for diplomacy
and deduction in your investigations.

 

Do you feel compelled to seek answers to the unexplained?

Will you pierce the veil of mundane human perception? 

Or will you remain in the bliss of the ignorant?

 

Whether you want play to be tense and suspenseful, comically spooky, or
downright terrifying, well, that’s the choice of your gaming group. Beyond the
Veil will support your enjoyment in telling all those stories, and more.

Beyond the Veil is one of the most interesting new games I've been lucky enough
to experience. The mechanics are very unique and make for some compelling
gameplay with loads of room for role play, plus the artwork is beautiful. To my
mind the game feels like a ttrpg blend of ghostbusters, resident evil, and a
classic epsiode of x-files. I can't wait to run this game for my table! 10/10 a
must play!
