Access to power has become the key driver of AI and data center growth, prompting the need for new solutions among utilities, developers and other stakeholders. This demand growth will test grid reliability, requiring new ways of collaboration and policy structures. DTECH Data Centers and AI lives at this intersection of energy and digital infrastructure, exploring the strategies necessary to navigate power constraints, project delays and the increasing demand for sustainable, flexible solutions. Industry executives and thought leaders will discuss how AI is transforming the utility landscape, from operations to load management. How can utilities both manage AI demand, while utilizing its revolutionary tools? We invite industry experts, researchers, policymakers and innovators to submit their proposals and share their knowledge, experiences and insights at this important event. Together, we can advance sustainable energy solutions, foster dynamic collaboration and shape a resilient future for the intersection of digital infrastructure and the energy grid. We are seeking dynamic and engaging presentations, panel discussions and case studies that explore a wide range of topics related to Data Centers and AI. All proposals should primarily appeal to each of our key stakeholder groups: data center developers and operators, power producers, utilities and regulators. Examples of topic solicitation include: * Data Centers: The rapid expansion of data centers will increase strain on the electric power grid, requiring more collaborative, dynamic relationships with utilities to secure reliable power. This growth will also drive innovation in energy management, with data centers adopting advanced strategies for efficiency, demand response and behind-the-meter generation to meet both operational and sustainability goals. Subtopics relevant to data centers include: · Load Growth and Utility Forecasting · Data Center Planning and Utility Collaboration · Grid Interconnection · Power Generation Strategies · Energy Sourcing and Renewables Integration · Data Centers as a Grid Resource · Demand Response and Load Management · Energy Efficiency · Onsite and Backup Power Solutions · Energy Storage · Innovative Financing Models · Policy and Regulatory · Community Relations * AI: From customer engagement to asset management, internal operations and data management, Artificial Intelligence is allowing utilities to efficiently and effectively meet the evolving needs of the energy transition and expansion. This topic will unpack how electric utilities are using AI solutions (both in the field and the c-suite) and explore future use cases. Subtopics include AI applications in: · Grid Optimization and Load Forecasting · Predictive Maintenance and Asset Management · Wildfire Mitigation · Energy Efficiency and Demand Response · Integration of Renewable Energy Sources · Cybersecurity and Grid Protection · Environmental Monitoring and Regulatory Compliance · Energy Trading and Market Analysis · Virtual Power Plants and Decentralized Energy Management Submission Guidelines: * Presentation proposals should include a title, abstract, and a brief biography of the speaker(s). * Panel discussion proposals should include a proposed topic, moderator, and potential panelists. * Case study proposals should provide an overview of the project, challenges faced, and outcomes achieved. Dates and Deadlines: * Call for Abstracts will open November 14, 2024 * Session submissions are due by December 6, 2024, by 11:59 PM EST * Late submissions will not be accepted, no exceptions. * All submitters will be notified of their acceptance status by January 2025 Be advised, submission does not guarantee inclusion in the conference. Your content will be reviewed by our advisory committee based on quality, relevance, and presenter credentials. If approved, you'll receive an email from our conference team.
