THERAPEUTIC HORSE RIDING

This type of therapy is so much more than just simply riding a horse.
Therapeutic horse riding is the use of horses and equine-assisted activities to
achieve goals that enhance physical, emotional, social, cognitive, behavioural,
and educational skills for children, teens and adults who have disabilities.

STABLE MANAGEMENT

These sessions give participants an insight into the care and management of
horses. The emotional benefit of this activity can be very effective,
encouraging growth in decision making, responsibility, independence,
self-esteem, communication, self-confidence. Stable management is ground work so
the ability to be able to ride a horse is not necessary.

ADULT SERVICES

We welcome adults individually or in groups from various residential or daycare
facilities. Their programme is designed based on their needs. There is benefits
to the mental health of people with depression/ anxiety, just by spending time
with the ponies/horses and developing a bond with them.

MAKING RIDING ACCESSIBLE TO ALL

PRIVATE SESSION

Therapeutic Riding is used to develop, increase and improve a range of skills
for children & adults.

SCHOOL VISITS

We can accommodate groups of school children to visit the stables to learn about
the horses & ponies. Children can have a Therapeutic Horse-riding session
included.

HORSEMANSHIP

The aim is to provide participants with an insight into the care and management
of horses. It includes all the stable management activities and a 25-minute
horse riding session. Weekly sessions usually last one hour.
