LOVELY WEEKEND WITH FRIENDS
We had a lovely stay at the Napa Marriot. The prices were on the high end,
but that might just be due to summer rates. We enjoyed the happy hour! The
only thing that could have been better was the room service. The food was
ok and we were disappointed that it came in to go containers. We expected a
little better for the price.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND WILL SEE YOU AGAIN SOON
The Napa Valley, Marriott hotel, and spa exudes nothing but class the rooms
are great and clean. The staff is wonderful. The pool is great. The
accommodations are dynamite.

CONVENIENT LOCATION
I booked this hotel part of a group and really loved the location. There
are plenty of stores and restaurants that are walkable and there are many
vineyards close by.
I happened to call the hotel prior to my arrival to ensure that I received
a room with two queen beds. I spoke o the manager, who just so happened to
answer the phone named Blossom. She was truly a delight. She made sure that
the room I was staying in had the set up I requested and once I arrived I
asked for her and she actually came from her office and greeted me with a
huge hug.
She is certainly the gem of this location.
The bar happy hour was a treat. It is very affordable and filling. We
actually had the happy hour food as dinner the first evening we arrived.
Unfortunately it's only available Monday through Friday so be sure to pop
in for the happy hour if you stay during the week.
We spent a day relaxing at the pool and let me say the pool gets pretty
packed.
We placed several orders for food and drinks and because there's only one
bar at the pool the bar tender was also the pool waiter. This turned into a
mess upon check out because my final bill had other guests orders on the
bill. I went to the front desk to advise them that there was an error on my
bill and the young lady was sort of rude stating that all of the bill is my
pool order. I had to actually have her print my bill, go line by line and
pull the receipts from the pool in order to prove that I did not sign for
all of that food and drinks. Once she saw that a lot of bills with my room
number had various signatures she was very quick to apologize and make the
corrections.
I felt as if she should have heard me out prior to jumping to conclusions
as if I was trying to get over.
Other than the check out experience the hotel was great and there are so
many vineyards that give free tastings in the lobby that you immediately
know you have arrived in Napa Valley Wine Country!!!!

MORE OF A SHERATON THEN A MARRIOTT
While the people here may be nice and friendly, they are not very good at
running a hotel. Everything and everyone here seems to be barely holding
on. I do not know why, but this place feels like it's on the edge of
falling apart. The only thing at this hotel I thought was good was the
food. Everything else says mediocre Sheraton and not a $350-400/night
Marriott.
Room – average but dated, patio is unkept
Pool – dirty
Gym – OK

Food – very good

EXTREMELY RUDE, COLD AND UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT DESK
The trip was for a couple retreat during week days (Tues to Thursday), so
asked for quite room at check in, front desk gave a room next to the
elevator. Asked the desk if there would be noise, desk gave a cold look and
responded "why would there be"; not great sleep nonetheless.
Hotel charges $30/ day destination fee but also gave out $30 food and drink
credit. At checkout, those credits were not applied. The front desk has
zero attempt to correct the mistake, just saying it was what's on the bill,
when asked politely to explain the bill since the line items where just
codes, the desk gave no effort when prompted multiple times.
Credits were only applied when we listed out each meal items. So may be
take a picture of the check next time.
Also there were tissues floating in the pool, otherwise the grounds and
room were nice.
The gold elite membership means nothing here, no upgrades during weekdays,
even with empty lobby and restaurant.

recent stay with us. I am deeply sorry to hear about the issues you
encountered and the negative impression it has left.
I apologize for the disappointing experience with our front desk during
check-in and check-out. Your request for a quiet room should have been
met with consideration and understanding, and the dismissive response
you received is not acceptable. We will address this with our team to
ensure better service in the future.
Regarding the $30/day destination fee and corresponding food and drink
credit, I am sorry for the confusion and the lack of assistance you
experienced. While these credits are applied automatically, it is clear
that our team failed to properly address your concerns and explain the
bill to your satisfaction. This is not the standard we strive to
uphold.
I also regret to hear about the condition of the pool and the lack of
recognition for your Gold Elite membership. We value your loyalty and
should have made every effort to provide an upgrade and a more
personalized experience, especially during a quieter period.
