Join us online on May 14 & 15 for the next session of our Code Mode Series –
Understanding the Seattle Existing Building Code.

This session delves into the code’s philosophy and explores requirements for
building reuse and substantial alterations. It will feature case studies to
illustrate practical applications and emphasizes key compliance areas such as
substantial alterations, building performance, and changes of use within
existing structures.

What factors are at play when planning and designing healthcare delivery
facilities in the urban environment today?

Join the Architecture for Health Committee (AHC) in person in Seattle for the
annual AHC Spring Conference.

The Harborview Medical Center team will present their facilities master plan
efforts. Hospital executives will discuss the realities of strategic capital
deployment and project delivery in healthcare today and design considerations
focused on the caregiver. Presentations on the Swedish First Hill Tower, and a
virtual tour of the UW Behavioral Health Teaching Facility will also be
included.
