Having established herself as a palpable force in the DJ scene, Naarm-based
Bertie is announcing the long awaited release of her debut EP, ‘Carabiner’.
Stylistically, ‘Carabiner’ draws from Bertie’s queer identity, love of groove
and years of DJing, to combine the crunchy, punchy stylings of 90s house, with
contemporary soundscapes and storytelling. Each track is a fusion of percussive
beats, acidic motifs and euphoric highlights with an uplifting nature and groovy
finish.
