With an attitude of growth, fun and connection, Inspired EC has evolved into an
organisation that works closely with educators and services around Australia and
internationally, providing training, resources, consultancy services and much
more.




WHO ARE WE?

Inspired EC was established in 2008 by "professional soulmates" Tash Treveton
and Nicole Halton. Both Nic and Tash are experienced speakers, writers, mentors
and educators who love what they do and have a whole lot of fun doing it!

We have an amazing team of mentors and administration staff working throughout
in NSW, QLD and VIC to ensure every experience you have with Inspired EC is a
positive one.

INSPIRED NATURAL PLAY STORE

The Inspired Natural Play Store is the resource component of our company
Inspired EC. While delivering professional development to educators around
Australia, we noticed a gap in the market for quality resources that were
sustainable, handmade, ethically sourced or from small Australian businesses.
Determined to bridge that gap, we began stocking a range of books and other
products. This range is continually evolving and now features many natural toys
and products for family life as well as the early education and care profession.
We are a small business managed and staffed by women and mothers.

A wonderful Diary.

I purchased this diary as I had been looking at ways to boost the amount of
written communication between the team.
I printed off what we needed and had it bound. This allows it to be taken
outdoors and is easier to look back through if we need to check something.
The team just loves the diary and are writing more valuable communication in
each of the designated areas.

Inspired Family Day Care was established in response to the voices of Families
and Educators seeking a more natural and challenging experience of childhood for
their children. It is founded on the belief that all children deserve a

Linuwel Steiner School in East Maitland NSW. The OSHC provides:

COME PLAY THE TIMBERNOOK WAY

In 2018, we became the first Australian Providers for the internationally
renowned Nature Play program "TimberNook". Typically, TimberNook children get
dirty! We encourage children to challenge themselves and to take thoughtful
risks. Each experience is unique to the location, provider, and group of
children, and includes free play in sensory-rich learning environments to
further enhance play schemes.

CONSULTANCY AND SUPPORT

While our passion lies in nature based education and the importance of play in
high quality environments, what really sets us apart is our approach to working
with early childhood professionals. We do not believe that it is up to us, or
anyone for that matter, to give all the answers. We pride ourselves on asking
the questions and supporting educators to come up with their own answers. Just
as we believe that children are competent, capable learners, able to
hypothesise, problem solve and create - the same applies to the adults that we
are lucky enough to work with.

We offer a wide range of support and consultancy services for education and care
services. We have a range of support services available both in person and
online. We love working with services and educators to help them be the very
best that they can be, and to overcome challenges in a meaningful way.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We love being able to offer a wide range of workshops and events - both in
person and online! Providing courses, interviews, discussions and more,
featuring our passionate Inspired EC Team and other amazing thinkers from all
over the globe, we offer a HUGE range of workshops and events, in a variety of
ways to suit all learners. We pride ourselves on the connections that we form
with the educators that we meet and through personalised responses from our
consultants, participants will feel the support of a community of learners.

WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS

We love visiting services and working with a whole team on a range of topics. We
can join team meetings, run an evening session, a Saturday morning, a
professional development day or mini conference. We will work with you, either
face-to-face or online, to explore a range of practical strategies and consider
important developmental theory and research that shapes the way in which we
support children. We believe that connection is key and know that you will love
the topics that we have on offer.

THE HEART OF IT ALL

Everything we do is done from the heart. We choose each item in our store
personally and with our customers in mind. Items are carefully wrapped and
packed by Anna in our office, and we love including special notes and extra
surprises at times!

HOW ARE WE HELPING THE PLANET?

We seek out resources that are sustainably and ethically made. We work with
local stockists and suppliers to reduce travel impacts on the planet. All of our
orders are wrapped in recyclable paper and shipped in compostable bags.

HOW IS MY ORDER SHIPPED?

Orders are shipped via courier and you will receive a tracking number when your
order is on it's way. Our standard turnaround time is 1-2 weeks. 

WE ARE COMMITTED TO A SUSTAINABLE PLANET!

We do a lot of printing. In fact, every year between September and January we
print over 1000 Reflective Journals! So, we are offsetting our printing through
PrintReleaf - we print for you, and they plant trees for us!

To the right is a tracker which shows our printing and the number of trees that
have been planted as a result!
