Kam’s Tech Talk (KTT) – Overview

Kam’s Tech Talk (ksm1313live) is a dynamic and inclusive community dedicated to
empowering individuals at various stages of their professional journey,
particularly those interested in pursuing a career in Salesforce. Founded by Kam
(LinkedIn Link), a passionate mentor with a vision for supporting professionals
in navigating career transitions, Kam’s Tech Talk has evolved from a personal
initiative into a thriving community-driven platform.

About Kam’s Tech Talk (KTT):

Kam’s Tech Talk (KTT) originated in 2021 as a personal endeavor by Kam, who
recognized the need to assist individuals struggling to choose or transition
careers. Initially focused on providing mentorship to professionals seeking
guidance, Kam’s Tech Talk has since expanded its scope to cater to a diverse
audience.



Salesforce Journey: In around 2013, Kam ventured into the realm of customer
relationship management (CRM) and began my journey with MS Dynamics. However,
shortly thereafter, Kam embarked on a new path with Salesforce and adeptly
mastered its intricacies. Presently, He actively engaged in the Salesforce
ecosystem, leveraging my expertise in pre-sales support. This entails
envisioning and designing innovative data products and services that continually
evolve to meet the needs of our valued clients.

MENTORSHIP INITIATIVE AND JOURNEY

Mentorship plays a pivotal role in guiding individuals towards success, offering
valuable insights, support, and encouragement along their journey. Inspired by
the impactful mentorship initiatives of renowned YouTubers, Kam recognized the
transformative power of one-on-one guidance. In response 2021, Kam initiated a
mentorship program under the banner of Kam’s Tech Talk (#ksm1313live). This
program aimed to provide aspiring Salesforce professionals with personalized
mentorship, drawing upon the expertise and experiences of seasoned industry
professionals.

As Kam’s Tech Talk gained momentum, expanding its reach through various social
media channels like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WordPress
Blogging, it became evident that the mission to empower others resonated deeply
within the Salesforce community. Witnessing the positive impact of these
platforms, particularly the engaging content shared under the handle name
ksm1313live, Kam realized the potential for collective action.

In 2024, Kam’s Tech Talk (#ksm1313live) underwent a transformation,
transitioning from an individual endeavor to a thriving community-driven
initiative. This evolution marked the inception of a collaborative environment
where individuals from diverse backgrounds came together to support the
Salesforce community and extend a helping hand to others. Today, Kam’s Tech Talk
welcomes everyone to join this noble cause, fostering a culture of volunteerism
and collective empowerment within the Salesforce ecosystem.


KAM’S TECH TALK COMMUNITY

The community is committed to aiding young talents embarking on their career
journeys, professionals seeking to transition into Salesforce roles, and mothers
reentering the workforce after childcare breaks. Kam’s Tech Talk recognizes the
unique challenges faced by these groups and strives to provide tailored support
and resources to facilitate their success.

In addition to one-on-one mentoring services, Kam’s Tech Talk launched various
social channels in March 2021 to broaden its reach and impact. These include a
YouTube channel and blogging platform, where valuable insights, tutorials, and
success stories are shared to inspire and inform the community.

One of the significant initiatives of Kam’s Tech Talk is its involvement in
mentoring individuals in prison, aimed at reducing re-offending rates and
facilitating positive life changes. Volunteer mentors are crucial to this
program, dedicating half a day per week to support and guide individuals towards
a brighter future.
