WILL DEFINITELY RETURN
I think the location of this hotel could not be more perfect. It is very
relaxing, even as we experienced what was said to be a fully booked night.
The breakfast, pool area and all the facilities were spacious and calming.
The staff was very helpful and professional.

EXCELLENT HOTEL FOR A ROMANTIC STAY
The hotel is in a great location on a hill in Tuscany, situated in northern
Tuscany, a surprisingly mountainous region.
There are few well-known sights in the region, but the hotel gives you a
tourist map/guide to plan your visits.
If you are not lying or swimming in the pool, you can quickly fill your
days with trips. The fantastic outdoor pool has a great view and drink
service.
The veranda restaurant has a great terrace. Remember to reserve!
The spa is fantastic, with very professional and experienced services.
So, a lot to do during your stay.
The rooms were not so big, but we had a fantastic room with a big terrace
and a valley view. The are decorated warmly.
One small remark: When the hotel is busy, the pool and breakfast area could
need some additional staff.

AMAZING HOTEL
Amazing hotel in Tuscany with perfect view and amazing pool. Staff is
amazing and they make sure that you feel like at home. Food at the
restaurant is amazing and there are variaty of choices. That tiramisu was
so nice that I was eating after each meal. Thanks again for amazing service

WHAT A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE
We stayed at the Renaissance Tuscany Hotel to celebrate our wedding
anniversary. The hotel is beautifully located in the mountains with
incredible views in all directions.
As soon as we walked into the hotel, we received a warm welcome and all the
staff were so kind and helpful, which is always a good sign when you arrive
and check in.
We had a lovely room on the 5th floor with a balcony and an incredible view
across the valley. We had a wonderful start to our day by sitting on the
balcony and enjoying the sunrise and spectacular views. Our visit was at
the beginning of August with extremely high temperatures of 34 degrees
Celsius. Even in this heat the air conditioning in the room worked well,
keeping the bedroom at a comfortable temperature which is especially nice
for sleeping.
All the staff were amazing, it did not matter if you were in the reception,
bar, restaurant or pool, everyone was attentive and wanted to make sure you
had everything you needed and were enjoying yourself. We do not speak
Italian, but all the staff spoke excellent English and were happy to chat
with us to make sure we were having a good time.
For us, the hotel is a 10 for location, views, food and staff.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY, LOCATION, BUT NON-EUROPEANS BEWARE!
The hotel is largely ok, the property is very well maintained and clean.
The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. The food at this property is
a bit underwhelming especially if you have tasted Tuscan food in Florence.
The hotel staff is also not very friendly to non-Europeans. During my stay
here I have heard several derogatory comments towards non-Europeans from
the wait staff. The front desk staff are professional but do not expect the
courtesy and pleasantness that you might be used to at a typical Bonvoy
hotel.

AN EXCELLENT VACATION DESTINATION
I travel to Italy often. I’ve always found Il Ciocco to have three
priceless things to offer its guest.
A location in the Tuscan hills and mountains that is so beautiful and
relaxing for those of us who want to sit back and relax. The views from the
hotel , which is high up in the hills, are stunningly beautiful.
The hotel is in a small village and is quiet . You can enjoy wonderful food
from the Veranda. Whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner, the menu is
varied and the preparation is delicious.
The rooms and bedding are comfortable and just what you would expect in a
top hotel in Italy. Plus there is a spa, great gym, and both an indoor and
outdoor pool.
It’s my go to resort when I just want to kick back and be in a truly
authentico environment.

STAY @ THE RENAISSANCE TUSCANY
Overall a great experience. The reception staff (Giulio) and the breakfast
host delivered a very high class and professional customer service with a
warm and hearthfelt smile on their face.
The resort looks wonderful starting from the entrance; all details are
really curated and taken care of, as it is the general cleanliness of
common areas and the room.
Room are small (at least ours) but very cozy and with a breathtaking view
over the village of Barga.
The outdoor pool with a view is just breathtaking and the bar service is
very attentive and available for any need.
Totally recommended!!

ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS WE HAVE VISITED
The Renaissance Tuscany is a gem to be found and enjoyed. The location is
spectacular in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The staff is
excellent. The food is delicious. The rooms are very well designed. We will
definitely be returning. Just a note if you are driving. The hotel is in a
spectacular location on the top of a Tuscany hill so the drive is an
interesting trip to the top.
