DulyNoted


Automated Transcription Service

DulyNoted is one of a suite of innovative products from Lonegenius Software Ltd.
that leverage the power of AI while maintaining a simple-to-use interface. There
is no sign-in required nor passwords to remember - everything is carried out by
email. To subscribe to the Transcription Service simply click here then follow
the instructions below.
Permissions Confirmation
DulyNoted will have permission to insert pages into your Notion workspace as
well as read the email address of workspace users. Workspace users are the
people who have permission to organise, edit and create pages in your workspace.
Unless you have set up a team, this will usually just be you. DulyNoted needs to
know this email so that it can link your transcription requests to your Notion
workspace. DulyNoted will not be able to read any other data, pages or databases
in your Notion workspace, nor any details of those you have shared pages or
databases with. Click the 'Next' button to proceed to the next step of the
integration setup.

Allow Access to Notion
'Use a template provided by the developer' is selected by default. This will
allow DulyNoted to insert a page into your Notion workspace titled:
'Meeting Transcript Summaries'. Every time you send a transcript to the service,
a new sub-page will be created under this page containing the summary.

After clicking 'Allow access', the service will attempt to finish the
integration set-up. If successful, you will see the message displayed below. You
will then be able to send your first transcript. If the integration is
unsuccessful you will receive a message informing you that this is the case.
Sending a Transcript for Processing
To initiate a transcript summary, send an email to:

Subject: 'Transcribe' (just the word, don't include the quotes).
Email body text: Leave empty.
Attachment: The transcript you want to process, as a .txt file.

The name you give the file will be the name the process gives the page that is
posted in Notion containing the transcript summary (without the .txt part). Use
only letters, numbers, dashes, underscores and spaces in the name as using any
other characters will cause the file to be rejected. Depending upon the size of
the transcript, the file can take anything from one to five minutes to process.
This is an ideal opportunity to relax, have a cuppa, and reflect on how magical
and amazing all this is.
Viewing the Summaries in Notion
Your transcription summaries will appear in your Notion worspace as in the image
below. You can edit, rename or delete the individual summary pages, but you must
leave the main 'Meeting Transcript Summaries' page as is.
And Finally ...
You can remove the DulyNoted integration at any time from within Notion. Just
navigate to the 'Settings and members' area from the menu bar on the left of
your workspace, then select 'My connections'. Click on the three dots to the
right of the
'DulyNoted connection' that appears under the 'My connections' section, then
click 'Disconnect account.' Any pages already posted by the transcription
service will
remain in place, but can be deleted manually if required. You can re-connect the
integration at any time by repeating the original process.
