When options have a high IV they are expensive. The theory is if you sell an expensive option you don't have to totally rely on direction to profit from a trade. When the IV contracts, so does the price of the option and that will give a trader an opportunity to cover that option at a lower price. The problem is total market volatility is really low right now and finding a juicy trade is becoming difficult in this atmosphere. I was just wondering if people who use this strategy had any plump premium trades they are looking at.
