“Thank you so much to all the wonderful people at Home Hospice – nurses, social
workers, aides, chaplains, administrators and volunteers. You have been and
continue to bless our journey immensely.” “I knew before my husband went on
hospice, that I would be using this group.  I appreciate the care and compassion
given to us in our time of need.  You all made a horrible time in our lives at
least a little easier to manage.” “Home Hospice of Grayson County was the best
team I have ever worked with and I thank each and every one of them very much.
With their help, I was able to keep my wife at home. She loved every one very
much. Thanks for being our friend.”

WHAT WE DO

HOME HOSPICE

Your Home Hospice team of professionals and volunteers work for you. Not only
will you receive the finest medical care under our medical director and nurses
who work closely with your own doctor, but you and your family may benefit from
social workers, a chaplain, a bereavement coordinator, aides, and a host of
volunteers. The benefits, our patients tell us, are significant.

BEREAVEMENT

Grief support is available to family members as they deal with the loss of a
loved one. Our trained grief support team is available to our patients’ families
for at least a year, providing phone calls, visits, support groups, grief
support activities for children, including Camp Dragonfly, and educational
programs.

PATHWAYS PALLIATIVE

SUPPORTIVE CARE

Pathways Palliative Supportive Care program is designed to provide pain
management and symptom control for those with a chronic or serious illness.
Palliative care can be started and stopped at any time for any serious illness
and does not require you to stop potentially curative treatment of your disease.
Patients who receive early palliative care have improved quality of life
throughout their illness and potentially improved life expectancy.

EDUCATION AND OUTREACH

Through our support groups, special programs, events, website and staff, our
goal is to keep you informed and supported to help you have the best possible
quality of life.
