WELCOME TO MY STUDIO!

I am Soniya Vijayakumar, an abstract expressionism artist, designer and
researcher. I work with watercolor, acrylic and natural paints, creating
artworks inspired by nature, simplicity and beauty of everyday moments. I
believe in the art of noticing & slow living.

Instead of just making art, I weave your story into existence, crafting a unique
piece for your space through heartfelt conversations. During your commissions
with me, I embark on a collaborative journey with you, drawing out your essence
through conversation and translating it into a personalized work of art that
reflects your story. Through intimate conversations, I love to capture your
story in a personalized masterpiece that will forever resonate in your space.

Merging mindfulness and artistry, I seek to evoke deep connection and belonging
through my artworks, believing our spaces should reflect the same. Working out
of a beautifully curated home studio, Soniya paints and produces gorgeous
quality artworks and its reproductions as prints.
