     I was there for a large conference of primarily teenagers and the staff
     went above and beyond to make sure we were on the same floor and had rooms
     near each other.This has never happened in all my years of taking groups to
     hotels for conferences. The staff was also incredibly patient and helpful.
     And the maintenance staff was prompt when I had to call them late for a
     problem in my room.

     CONVENIENT ACCESS!!
     
     I enjoyed our stay from July 11-15th. It was conveniently located from
     restaurants, drug stores, the trolley, and casino. They have the
     hospitality desk in which they give you samples of drinks and food. I do
     not like that other people (homeless and mentally disturbed) are allowed in
     the building to sit around. I also think that while security asks us to
     show our room key to have access to the building, they should be closer to
     the other revolving door facing the street because alot of people were able
     to come in without being checked. I will say that our complaint was handled
     about the sewage smell coming from our adjoining room! Please do better
     because my sister received a boot on her car and we had to wait for them
     and eventually figured out we could self-pay, but if we are guests, we
     shouldn't have received it in the first place! We are planning to return to
     new orleans next year but not sure if we will choose this hotel!

     GREAT LOCATION FOR MY FAMILY REUNION
     
     I hosted my family reunion and everything worked out perfectly! Our banquet
     room was beautiful with tall windows and views. The food was plentiful and
     delicious and the Club was a welcome retreat after a long day. Kayshia
     Maheia and her team worked professionally with us and made sure we had
     everything we needed. Someone was always available to help or answer a
     question. I will refer anyone hosting an event to Sheraton New Orleans!

     MUST STAY: PERFECT LOCATION
     
     We stayed at Sheraton Canal St. for a family reunion. The staff was
     excellent and offered exceptional customer service. Our rooms were cleaned
     and we were given enough wash rugs and towels. The room was good but they
     do need more outlets in the room. The breakfast buffet was not the best. I
     would suggest to go out for breakfast. But the food at the Pelican Bar was
     good. All in all, I would definitely suggest staying at Sheraton Canal St.
     I will definitely be back!

     We brought 4 teens and 3 adults! The rooms were clean, the staff was
     welcoming and the went above and beyond by decorating my Son's room for his
     16th birthday (I had brought decorations with me on the trip and called
     guest services to ask if they would, they were excited and happy to do it)

     Plus: good location, clean room and communal areas. Housekeeping was
     consistent.
     minus: Our rooms were not ready at check in time. We had to get a special
     code to connect to the internet. Starbucks had a line all day every day,
     and you cannot order on the app ahead of time.
     We were with a group, what we paid per night for the rooms was not fair, I
     am a Marriott rewards member and could have gotten our room for 25% less
     than the negotiated group rate we had to pay. I was also not able to get
     points for our stay on my Rewards account.

     HONEST REVIEW
     
     The hotel should check appliances during room cleaning as their hair dryer
     shocked me. They did bring a new one and I signed a paper but it could have
     been avoided as it was broken. Service could be much better in restaurant
     as I was ignored by wait-staff. Bell desk was best service I received and
     he was very helpful, professional.
