How are home test kits delivered to UK addresses?

Project Screen currently offers a range of different home Covid-19 tests - Green
Day 2, Amber Day 2 & 8, Test to Release, Fit to Fly, Health Check. We ship
orders via DPD. Please do not worry if your package does not arrive with the
rest of your post. You'll receive a message from DPD on the day of delivery.
This message specifies a one-hour period within which your parcel will be
delivered. If your plans change, you can easily update your delivery details via
DPD (website or app). You'll have the option to:

 * adjust the time of your delivery
 * request for your parcel to be left in a safe place
 * change your delivery address
 * choose a Pickup parcelshop near you

On the delivery day, you can follow your parcel online thanks to Live Tracking.
On the map you can even see how many stops the driver still has to make. Please
bear in mind that our distribution centre is open Monday - Saturday. Any orders
placed on a Sunday will be delivered on a Tuesday.

How do I send my home test sample to the laboratory?

We will do our very best to make sure that we can support you in getting your
sample to the laboratory safely and securely.

You can do any of the following:1. Free Royal Mail Tracked 24
2. Prenetics drop off locations
3. Self-arranged private courier


1. Free Royal Mail Tracked 24

All of our COVID-19 home test kits include free Royal Mail Tracked 24 return
mailers to post your completed sample to our laboratory. Send your test kit back
using the free Royal Mail return envelope provided via a Royal Mail Priority
Postbox Monday - Friday. You can find your nearest Priority Postbox here. When
researching your nearest Royal Mail Priority postbox, remember to consider the
collection days and last collection times for a postbox. This should help ensure
your sample arrives promptly at the laboratory. Please bear in mind that Royal
Mail has limited or no service on Saturdays or Sundays, therefore kits should
not be put in a postbox on a Saturday or Sunday with return to the lab expected
on that day. Use the following table to understand when your sample(s) will
arrive at our laboratory according to the day you posted your sample.

2. Prenetics drop off locations

By dropping off at one of our locations, your sample will be collected by
courier and delivered directly to the laboratory. Depending on which Test Pod
you drop your sample off at, the average time for samples arriving at the
laboratory ranges from 6:30pm - 11pm. Please note that samples must be returned
before the courier arrives and passed by hand to the staff member on site. Staff
members sit within the Pod. For each pod, the courier arrives at closing time.
For example, the closing time for the Dartford Pod is 4pm so the courier arrives
at, or shortly after, 4pm. Prenetics does not accept any liability for lost or
delayed samples that are dropped at the Test Pods out of hours and refunds will
not be issued.

Sample drop-offs are not accepted at our Edinburgh or Livingston Pod locations.

3. Self-arranged private courier

You can use a private courier. We recommend this option if you need to return
your sample over the weekend to receive your COVID-19 results on a specific
date. Please arrange a private courier to collect your sample and deliver it
directly to our laboratory, at the following address: Anglia DNA Services, 33,
Scottow Enterprise Park, Norwich, NR10 5GB.

Where are the Project Screen Test Pods in the UK?

Currently, we are fully operational at these locations: Bracknell, Bristol,
Cambridge, Chester, Dartford, Edinburgh, Guildford, Heathrow, Leeds, Leicester,
Livingston, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Reading, Slough, Solihull, Southend
Airport, St Albans, Sunderland, Swindon, Whiteley.

How long do the results take?

Within 24 hours of us receiving your swab at our UK-based laboratory, your
sample will be analysed, and your results will be delivered securely online. You
will be notified by email when your results are ready.

I have children (<18 years of age). Are they eligible?

Yes, children are eligible. A Project Screen account must be created by an
adult, however, multiple profiles can be added to one account, including
profiles for children under the age of 18.

I don't need to test anymore, can I get a refund?

If you cancel your home test kit(s) order and we haven�t dispatched your test
kit(s), you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your PCR test kit(s) order
within 2 months of the date we dispatch it and you have not activated the
test(s), we will offer a full refund minus £20 administration fee, with an
additional £10 per each additional PCR test kit to a maximum of £50. If you have
activated your test(s) or sent your completed PCR sample(s) to our laboratory
for analysis or cancel more than 2 months after the order is dispatched,
unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund. If we have dispatched your lateral
flow antigen test kit(s), we will not provide a refund and you can use this test
at a later date.

If you would like to cancel your Test Pod test appointment, you will receive a
full refund, up to 24 hours before the time slot for your appointment. If you do
not cancel 24 hours before your test appointment, we cannot offer you a refund
and you will be charged in full. No refunds will be provided if results have
been issued or for missed appointments for onsite testing.
